Bio: Alexis was born into a vampire family. However, they were not extraordinary vampires. Her father worked in an office and her mother worked with animals, nothing like the fancy, stereotypical vampire aristocrat. Alexis enjoys dueling with her rapier and studying certain subjects, such as philosophy, religion, and literature. Her father ensured that she attend formal boarding school as a child, where she learned both academics and propriety.
Growing up, Alexis' parents were very often there for her. Despite being vampires, it was a very loving family. One night, however, Alexis had gone out to feed. She accidentally went too far, and decided to hide out for the day. It wasn't the first time she had done so, but unfortunately it would be the last. The next night, when Alexis returned home, she returned to ash. There had been an accident, and her family's house had burned down. Both her parents had died in the fire. Alexis was alone. She was 13 then. After that, she traveled across the land, wandering from town to town. She managed to survive off of other people's hospitality and her own cunning. It was mostly people's hospitality that aided her survival. Her cunning, more often than not, landed her into more trouble. By the time she was 15 she had become well trained in the art of dueling. She had lived with a sword master for a year. In exchange for room and board, she pledged her allegiance to him. He trained her to become a defender of his household, and he came to view her as his daughter. So much so, in fact, that he could not ask her to waste her life as a bodyguard for him. Instead, he informed her of an academy and freed her from his service. As a parting gift, he gave her the rapier she carries today. Since then, she has made her way to Stardust Academy, in hopes of finally finding a place she can call home.
