Hair Color: Dusty blonde, usually tied back neatly into a bun or a braid.
Outfit: Faye wears an off white blouse with a peter-pan collar and a pleated navy skirt, held up by suspenders. In addition, she wears white tights and a pennant with a dust crystal on it.
Extras: Based off Morgan Le Fay.
About Me
Favorite Color: Navy Blue
Weapon of Choice: Caliburnus: An ornate silver staff that unfolds into a crossbow. Named after the latinized name for Excalibur. While in staff form, a dust crystal fits into one end and shoot bolts of dust energy. On her back, she wears a quiver to hold crossbow bolts and the weapon while not in use.
When fighting in close combat, Faye will use her staff to shoot bolts of dust at the enemy. Long range she will use the crossbow to wound or mark enemies, and let her teammates finish them off. During a fight she tends to fall to the back and take the 'support' role.
Aura: Navy Blue.
Semblances:
- Shapeshifting: Faye can turn into an animal of her choice, she can stay that way for an hour or two but after that the longer she stays in that form the more feral she becomes. It's also very tiring so she avoids using it too often. She hasn't quite mastered this semblance yet.
- Healing Touch: Using her aura, Faye can heal other's wounds and injuries. Requires contact, cannot be used on herself.

Bio:
Faye's grandparents raised her because her parents, who were hunters, weren't home often. Dust fascinated her, even as a young child. Around age 14, grimm killed her parents on a particularly dangerous hunt. Despite feeling like she should be upset, Faye wasn't since she spent so little time with them. After that she focused more on her studies, cutting herself off from the world outside her study.
One day a group of rogue Grimm attacked her home town. Faye helped the town militia fend them off with the use of her healing aura and dust. During which she caught the attention of a retired hunter who suggested she pursue formal training as a huntress. At first she fervently refused, recalling her parent's negligence. She put some thought into it and then, almost a year later, enrolled into Signal Academy.
Faye's greatest fear is becoming like her parents. She harbors anger towards them for leaving her with her grandparents and valuing their work over her, but misses them too. She's afraid she'll end up like them- leaving those who trust her alone.
Personality: Faye tries to think in a logical and controlled way. She masks her emotions, but tends to drop this when she's angry. She collects books and loves watching horror movies.

Okay, this is a good start but there are a couple of things that need to be fixed. First, your weapon is fairly simple compared to some other ones, so I would say adding dust capabilities to one form of the weapon would make it more even to other people's weapons. This isn't a required change, just a highly recommended one. Second, you can only have a total of two semblances and auras, and I count three. If you wish to keep the healing, I need to know how it works and any drawbacks it has. The bio is a tad short and I don't think there are such things as 'dust mages' in the RWBY universe, just dust distributors and hunters/huntresses that use dust.

Better, but I'm very concerned about the draining life thing, especially with other students (maybe make it only for Grimm or something? And that she can only absorb so much? Just something to make it fair when you go against Students) and the Bio still is really short and tells me very little about your character's background. I do like the addition of the dust to the staff. It sounds like it would be super cool :3

Mmmh that could be an issue, I'll change it to just healing since that's what I was originally going for. I'm still working on the backstory though, will ping you gain when I'm done! ^^
