Name: Allison "Allie" Age: 20 Height: 5'6" Description: She has long silky, chocolate brown hair, piercing emerald green eyes, and a perfect hourglass figure. She's got tanned skin, but mostly from paddle boarding or hanging out with friend's on the beach. Traits: She's shy until she gets to know someone, and then she won't shut up. She's obedient but does have a slight stubborn side. She's much to honest and blunt, always telling people like it is instead of telling them what they want to hear. Bio: Allie's parents have been married her whole life, and seem to be happy, though they also had an arranged marriage and never really loved each other. She grew up in a happy home but always wanted something more. She didn't just want to be married, but be married to someone she loved, though she wouldn't disobey them. She still lives with her parents while she is attending college, studying history and writing, with a minor in mathematics. Her parents don't really mind what she studies, because they believe she will never work anyways.

Name: Samuel Age: 23 Height: 6'1'' Description: Sam is slightly muscular and handsome. While he isn't extremely thing, he also isn't over weight. His mother would like to convince others that he's underweight, but he's right where he should be. He has dark brown eyes and black hair that is cut on the shorter side. His hands are often rough and occasionally have little cuts on them from his job. He is unable to tan, his skin always on the paler side. Traits: Sam is a bit cocky and tends to put on an act. He's a bit of a play boy, and tends to get tired of women easily. He finds their neediness and pathetic acts too much. He has a mean side, but it takes a lot to bring that out. The man likes to be playful and make people feel special or happy. He isn't very selfish or entitled, and actually likes helping those in need. Bio: Samuel was raised by his mom and six different men. His father, and then five step-fathers. The fact that his mother remarried so often has resulted in him believing that marriage is a joke. He wanted to remain a bachelor his whole life, but his mother decided she was going to set him up. He works at a mechanics just to keep himself busy, finding sitting at home or spending time with other rich people boring. The fact that he can do something, and help people, makes him feel good. He has decided to go along with the marriage, but not take it seriously.

Allie sat at the head of a long table, full of fancy place settings and a multiple course meal. The idea that she was married now made her sick. Married to a man she didn't even know, even after her mother had promised that she would never do that to her. The betrayal was worse than being married to the stranger. Looking around she shifted uncomfortably in her seat, feeling hot and stuffy in the pristine white dress. Not only that but all the smiling, coupled with the hundreds of pins that were in her long hair was making it impossible not to get a headache. The ring on her finger felt foreign and heavy, and added to her stress of being married. He was handsome enough, just the most eligible bachelor in the country, but he wasn't in love with her, and she wasn't in love with him, so what was the point? She would try and make this marriage work, just like her parents had asked (although it had sounded more like an order) her to do. This was the beginning of a very long road, and Allie didn't know how much she could take of it. The cake, the pictures, it was all to much for her. The fake smiling and the crowded room. It was like a horse show, their parents parading them around to show everyone how spectacular they really were. They didn't really speak to one another, aside from saying their vows during the ceremony. They would have to get to know each other eventually. ~~~Two Weeks Later~~~ Allie stretched on the couch. The condo was nice, and overlooked the ocean, much to her happy surprise when he had shown her in after their "honeymoon" weekend at the fanciest hotel in the entire city. Allie loved to paddle board, and was happy to have such great access to the water on a daily basis. It would make it easier on her to lug her board around. They weren't light like surf boards were. Looking through the kitchen she was trying to decide what to cook tonight. Even if he wasn't going to try and make this marriage work, she had given her word and she was going to try. That's when she noticed Samuel's cellphone on the counter. He must have forgotten it on his way to work. Normally she wouldn't have brought it to him, but the thing just kept buzzing and blinking at her, and she was getting tempted to open it and read everything. That would have been dishonest however, and she wouldn't have liked if he had done the same to her. Taking a deep breath she smoothed out her blue jeans and then adjusted her perfectly fitting tank top before she grabbed his phone and tossed it in her purse, grabbing her keys. She would just take it to him. He didn't want anyone to see her, that was clear. They didn't go anywhere, but she wasn't going to live inside this condo forever. Hopping into her little car she drove to the garage he worked at and pulled up, parking in a spot that wasn't particularly close. Walking up slowly she walked in through the front door and smiled at the man behind the counter. "I'm.. I'm here to see Samuel." she said, her voice a beautiful melody, and perfectly proper. "And who are you miss?" the man behind the counter asked. "His wife." she answered, the words feeling strange on her lips. The man behind the counter looked surprised, and wasn't shy as he looked her up and down, clearly looking at the gorgeous woman before him, and wondering what a nice proper lady like her, was doing with a mechanic man like Samuel. She was polite and shot him a dazzling smile when he said to go on into the shop and find him. Walking behind the counter she thanked him, and then walked in the shop, all the other mechanics looking and gawking at her as she walked by, her hips swaying easily as she walked around, looking for Samuel. When she found him she cleared her throat and pulled her hair over her shoulder, fiddling with it awkwardly. "Um.. you forgot your phone and it kept going off. I was heading to get some groceries anyway.." she said absently, digging around in the oversized bag she was carrying.

Having a tux on wasn't Samuel's idea of fun, but his mother had slapped his hand away when he tried to take the tie off. Fine. Today he would play the good little boy. His eyes glanced to the girl next to him, tempted to put on a nice big show for everyone. He decided against it, not wanting to hear his mother scold him later. She knew of his acts all too well. After all, she was the one that had taught him everything he knew. His mother hadn't been aware of it until it was too late, poor thing. The thought made him smirk and look at her. The woman saw the look in his eyes and shook her head. At that moment she stood up and announced the cutting of the cake. Anything to make him behave. ______________________________________________________ Samuel worked on the truck in front of him, listening to the music on the radio as he did. It was really relaxing to come in here and work. No one expected him to be someone he wasn't, he didn't have his mother telling him what to do, and Allie wasn't here. As nice as she was, he didn't want to be married to her. Why would he? He didn't even know her! Plus, marriage was a joke. His mother had been married so many times, and she was already looking for her next victim. Speaking of, why hadn't she messaged him today? He stood up and wiped his hands off on a rag before searching his pockets. Great. He didn't have his phone. No wonder she hadn't been bugging him. Now he's hear about it later...'Why were you ignoring me? You know I'm all alone. Don't you love your mother?' All the typical responses to him not replying right away. Around lunch time he went and sat down at his normal spot, eating as he thought about what to do after work. Allie would be home, and he really didn't want to see her. Maybe he'd go out for dinner with someone. He had seen Claire the other day, and she had made it clear that she missed him. Oh, Claire. The fiery little red head. He was snapped out of his thoughts by his watch going off, signalling that lunch time was over. It was shortly after he started to work on the truck again that he heard a familiar voice. No...Sam stood up and wiped his hands off again, waiting for her to find his phone. "Oh...thanks." He could tell all the guys were looking at her, wondering who she was. There had never been another girl in here to see him. The man made sure that none of the girls he saw knew where he worked. Not after the one girl followed him home. She had managed to sneak into his secure building, get to his apartment, and get into his home. It was still a mystery to him. Samuel felt like this was all taking too long, and he grabbed her arm gently and led her outside. Once they were away from everyone he crossed his arms and sighed. "You should've just turned off my phone. I didn't need it." Now he was in a bad mood. Today was just getting better and better. His phone went off, making him frown. Maybe he would let her keep the stupid thing. She could deal with all the messages his mother was sending. Then again, someone might have messaged him about a date. That would be difficult to explain to her. 'Oh yeah, I've been trying to set up dates with other women, but my mom keeps spoiling them. I think she's having me followed or my phone tapped.' No, that little detail was something he wanted to keep to himself.

Allie stood there, listening to him as she continued to search her bag, following along easily as she continued to search when he pulled her outside. When he mentioned her not coming out here she shrugged. "Well it just kept going off and... I didn't know if it was important.. but I wasn't about to check..." she mumbled. "Now I hear it in here.." she complained. "Ah." she said, finally grabbing hold of it and pulling it out. "Here you go." she said simply, a smile on her lips. "Popular guy." she said with a joking smile. "Anyway.. I was going to make fish for dinner.. but then I realized I don't know if you like fish." she said. "I was going to just text but... you didn't have your phone." she finished. Clearly he was irritated, but she didn't care. He would have to get used to her sooner or later. They had to be married, and have children eventually. They needed to have some sort of working relationship. Not that she really knew how to go about that. All she could do after she finished cleaning up from dinner was go into her bedroom and cry. Her mother had promised her that she would never make Allie have an arranged marriage, wanting her daughter to be happy. Allie was heartbroken by the unkempt promise. "Anyway.. I was heading to the library and I didn't know if you wanted any books.." she said simply, trying not to dwell on the promise, it would only make her cry, and she wouldn't show that weakness in front of him. His appearance was so appealing to her. Why couldn't she ever block that out when she was trying to focus? He was so strong looking and handsome. It amazed her that he hadn't already been married. He was very appealing, especially when he was covered in oil and grease like this moment. It reminded her of that song Uptown Girl. That's probably what everyone thought they looked at right now.

Samuel listened to her talk about his phone, and he finally took it once she found it. He looked at the messages, right about them being from his mother. "Yeah...popular." When she mentioned making fish he shrugged. "What ever. I'm not picky. As long as it's cooked right and tastes good, I'll eat it." He sent a quick reply to his mom, letting the woman know she could stop bugging him. "Wait...my mom wants to know if we can come over tonight." That could be a way to not spend time alone with her! That would be great! He didn't want to act too hopeful. Allie would realize that he was a bit too excited, something he didn't want to have happen. He didn't want to hurt the girl, at least not yet. She hadn't given him a reason to dislike her. Other than being his wife. He heard her mention the library and shook his head. "No. I just buy a book if I'm interested in it. I'm pretty picky so...I'm fine." Why did he get the feeling that Allie wanted to make this whole thing work? Maybe it was just the fact that she was in a marriage where she didn't need to worry about money. That or she could be acting nice but have a guy on the side. Should he ask her? If she didn't she'd get upset though. Would she even admit to having a boyfriend? Yeah, that conversation was out of the question. Samuel would figure her out one day. It might take a few more weeks, but it would all become clear to him. He was pretty good at finding out secrets since he had so many contact in the city, so it would be easy to figure her out. Samuel glanced at her attire, finding it a bit too much. Why did she tease him like that? He did find her attractive, and she had an amazing body. For some reason though, he couldn't bring himself to do anything. It was like he was ready to make a move and then something stopped him. Maybe it was because he hadn't been able to put on his act for her like he had with other women. That had to be it...right?

Allie smiled and nodded at him when he mentioned eating anything, both hands clasped on her purse on her shoulder. She was about to mention that she would cook fish when he mentioned going to his mother's house. Her smile faltered slightly and she gulped. "If.. that's what you want to do." She said. Allie wasn't particularly fond of his mother. The woman had all but threatened Allie, making it known that while Sam would be allowed to have mistresses as he pleased, Allie wasn't allowed any, and wasn't allowed to comment on his affairs. Allie had been appalled and disgusted. What kind of woman said those things? Especially a woman who was such a well to do lady. Looking down Allie scuffed the bottom of her wedge sandal on the tar parking lot. She glanced up noticing all the guys from the garage standing just inside the garage all of them gawking at them. "I've kept you away from work long enough... let me know what you want to do tonight.. if you want to go over there I'll make a little something to take over." She said simply. She stood there stationary for a moment in the awkward goodbye. Finally she gave him a small wave and then turned and walked back to her car, getting inside and resting her head back against the head rest, her eyes closed as the cool air seaped over her skin. Then she started the car up and turned around, driving off towards the library. Why was it always so awkward for her around him? Why did he make it so hard? He could have just told her he didn't read or something simple, but no he flaunted that he bought his own books. Rolling her eyes she began to wonder how much like his mother he really was. Would he just constantly cheat on her? If he did she wouldn't put up with it. Then again what choice did she have?

"Okay." Sam looked up at her when she was saying her goodbye, not sure what to say. He didn't bother to even wave before he turned and walked back inside. The man informed his mom they would be joining her, hoping she didn't see it as too odd. Normally he hated to go to her house. However, today was different. Life had been different ever since he had become a married man. The thought made him sick. Just as he was about to send Allie a message a co-worker stopped him. "Hey, do you need help on something?" The man shook his head and crossed his arms. "Joe told me that the girl you just gave the cold shoulder to is your wife." Great. "And?" "And? Really? That's not how you treat your wife." "Listen, Dave...You don't know the whole story, okay? Don't give me this." Sam walked over to the car he had been working on and started to tinker with it again. For the next few hours, his co-workers would come over and bother him. They were all saying he needed to give the poor girl more respect. After all, if she was his wife he loved her, right? Oh, how wrong they were. At three, he left the shop and headed home. He stopped at the beach, staring at the water to calm down. He pulled out his phone and informed Allie that he didn't want to go to his mom's. He had a sudden meeting he had to go to, and she could just order something. It was a lie, but he didn't care. He made a few calls and set up a dinner with a few old colleagues, glad they were free. Once home, he went inside and showered. Hopefully he could get rid of this headache he had. All the guys bothering him at work had really irritated him. This was why he didn't want Allie to come to his place of work. Once done, he got dressed up for dinner. Thankfully, he wouldn't need to even be around Allie tonight. With that in mind, he messaged his mother saying something had come up. Now he wouldn't need to deal with either woman.

When Allie got his text message about having a meeting she sighed and replied that she would be happy to order out and that she hoped he had a good time. After that she finished up at the library and drove down to the beach, quickly pulling on her life jacket and then heading out onto the water, the waves calming her as she paddled around. After a while she came back onto the beach and put her board away and then headed back to the truck. By the time she got home Sam had already come and gone. "Good." she said to herself. Then she ordered some take out, paid for it, and ate it while reading a cheesy romance novel. It was her little secret what she liked to read in her spare time, and she had a feeling Sam would make fun of her, and she wouldn't take kindly to it. Thinking as she ate she wondered what he had told his mother. Hopefully the meeting had come up before he replied to her. Though Allie couldn't say she was upset about it. Curling up in her little short cotton shorts and tank top once she was finished eating she opened her book and continued to read. This was a good time to her, loving that she got some time to herself. With Sam always around she had to keep herself in check, be the proper lady.

Sam went to dinner, enjoy the opportunity to catch up. He had his phone on silent, not wanting anyone to bother him. After dinner he drove home, but he ended up going for a walk. For some reason he couldn't bring himself to go inside. Well, it was still kind of early so Allie could be awake. It wasn't like he could walk all night though. Sighing, he walked back towards home. Were the guys are work right? Should he give her a shot? It wasn't like she had done anything wrong. Still, Allie wasn't the kind of girl he normally liked. Plus, if he did develop feelings for her then what would he do? It wasn't like he could run away. Sam ran his hand threw his hair and got to the apartment, unlocking the door. He went to his room, not even bothering to look into the living room. Once changed, he went out to the living room and saw her there. It was like she was teasing him with those shorts. It wasn't fair. "So uh...have a nice dinner?" He had to get his mind off of her. Sam sat down on a chair, trying to keep his eyes off of her. He had this overwhelming desire to go over and kiss her. It wouldn't be right though. Plus, he couldn't let his mother win. That was something he would never let happen.

[quote="Helle_Einhorn][ Allie read happily for a while, wondering when Sam would be home, she wasn't used to just sitting at home alone most of the day, though she wasn't about to go hang out with her "friends". They were all so materialistic, and while she enjoyed going out and shopping occasionally, she didn't see a need to do it every single day. When he did finally come through the door he didn't even come into the living room, so she didn't stop reading. When he came in and sat down, Allie tore her eyes away from her book and looked at him. "Yeah I just ordered some take-out." she said with a smile. "I ate while I read.. I'm almost done with my book.. I read pretty fast so I spend a lot of time at the library.. besides if I bought all the books I read.. probably this entire place would be filled to the ceiling with them." she said with a smile. Looking over at him she looked over him and then set her book down. "How was your meeting?" she asked.

Sam listened to Allie, his eyes trailing down her legs. When she asked about his meeting he quickly looked back at her face. "Oh. It was boring." He didn't want to talk about that right now. It was a lie, anyway. Why did she have to be so gorgeous?! "Oh, screw this." He got up and went over to her, moving the book to the side table. He sat down next to her, pulling her onto his lap. Sam knew he would regret this, but he couldn't stop. His lips pressed against her's, his hands resting on her hips. This was only because he was attracted to her. Not because he cared about her. His hand ran to her back, pulling her a little closer. Why hadn't he given into this earlier? It wasn't going to hurt anything. Allie would probably realize that he was just doing this because he was, well...he was himself. Sam could't stop himself, and it would take Allie pushing him away to make him leave.

Allie was shocked when he came over and grabbed her, pulling her onto his lap. She straddled him easily, wondering what in the world had gotten into him. This would be a good a time as any to figure out if they even had any chemistry. As he kissed her, she realized it was a mistake. This was really affecting her, and in a deliciously good way. Wrapping her arms tightly around him she kissed him back, pulling him closer to her. Kissing him she realized she wasn't going to be able to make herself stop, this felt to good, and there was something about it that made her happy. The way his warmth felt against hers just felt right. Kissing him more deeply she pulled at his shirt, wanting to be closer to him.

Part of Sam was upset that she didn't push him away. If she did it would make this whole thing easier. However, she had to get into it. He moved a bit, quickly taking off his shirt. His hands traveled up her shirt a little, resting on her sides. Her skin was so warm and soft. It was so inviting. he fought that thought, making it go away. Well, at least to the back of his mind. His lips moved down her neck, his mind still telling him to run. This wasn't where he should be. He should be out flirting with girls, trying to find one to have a fling with. Instead, he was here. He was married, kissing his wife. Who had been so upset about kissing their wife? This was so stupid! This was why his mother needed to stay out of his life. Now he was starting to dislike his wife, who had done nothing wrong. What was he going to do about her? Right now...he was just going to kiss her.

Allie moved against him, giving her a happy feeling of his now exposed warm skin. Letting out a soft sigh when he rubbed her sides she pressed against him. They certainly had some chemistry. The very feel of him kissing her was sending her into a frantic passion, as stupid as that sounded. Could you even have chemistry with someone you didn't even know? Her hands went to travel his exposed skin, massaging and kneading his skin. He was perfect, for her anyway. When he started to kiss down her neck she let out soft signs, her head tipping to the side, wanting to give him better access. He was really skilled at this. How many women had he kissed, on this given couch? The thought had her suddenly pulling away from him, looking at him, her lips pink and rosy.
