So my name is Ceit and I'm 21. I've been crocheting now for about 8 years ish I think, so I'd say I'm pretty experienced.emotion_kirakira
I usually crochet blankets, pillows, hats/scarfs or baby items. I've recently just completed my "sophies universe" blanket and I love her and I am now trying to catch up on my "lily pond" blanket. emotion_yatta
I've not got any friends that can crochet so I thought it would be nice to have some so we can mix ideas etc.emotion_hugemotion_bigheart

ermmm I'm not sure really, I have two french crochet books with flowers in them, then one I 'acquired' on the internet (200 flowers to knit and crochet) and random free patterns I liked that I found online rolleyes
Oooo those are gorgeous! heart thank you for the pattern. Definitely saving it 3nodding
I don't usually buy yarn for a specific project anymore, I tend to make projects from what ever yarn I do have around (from people passing it on to me, sales, bits leftover from other projects I or my mom had bought yarn for. xd
so if I do ever make this? It would probably be ridiculously colourful lol
Hello! Nice to meet you. ^^ I'd love to see pictures of the stuff you've made. Do you have Ravelry? We have Gallery section in the guild too. There's also a CAL (which I haven't started yet) on, for a penguin pillow.
Finally! A blanket I can get behind. I usually do tiny crochet stuff, but this blanket looks very doable. Plus! I love lilies - water lilies in particular. It looks very interesting indeed. I wonder though, would I have to attach a piece of cloth behind these squares? You see, place is rife with mosquitoes sometimes.
By the way, you can watch WraythRose make off with a lot of prizes here (lol). Just kidding. razz Every one can win multiple times a day and chatter in general. *nod nod*
This was wool I had in my stash, I just tried to match the colours as close as I could. I'm sure it would still look prettysuper colourful. :3
It looks like a really close match (or as good as) 3nodding But it will be a prettysuper colourful gorgeous blanket emotion_kirakira

Nice to meet you to! I have a ravelry account but I don't actually use it all that much, I'll just post some stuff here in the guild gallery. and the penguin pillow looks super cute!
I'm sure it would be fine. I've got some crochet blankets that have fleece behind them but it's more effort for just the same result. 4laugh

Well, I have more .pdfs of patterns saved than I'm ever likely to actually make. Guess it may be a matter of prioritizing. (So says the one who is constantly distracted by the shinies on Pinterest. razz )
