You didn't actually expect this place to be clean. But it is.A few speakers in strategically placed corners pump rock music into the store, bouncing off the dark marble walls. There are several cushy, dark leather seats for a waiting customer to crash and read a tasteful magazine or two. (Xander stocks his personal favorites.) Behind the reception counter, the wall is covered in photos of Xander's past works. Beyond the counter, you can see a door leading to the room where all the magic happens, so to speak.
The back room is covered in posters of rock bands. A few single cushy leather salon seats are set up next to tables with all the tools of the trade. If you look closely, some of them are glowing. Xander's modified those ones especially for magick inking. Those are only used on magick customers, of course, but the glamour makes it safe for them to be out in plain sight.
Xander does all his work himself, and he's quite skilled if the photos behind the counter are anything to go by. He'll probably offer you a discount if you're a cute guy. However, sometimes Xander isn't in the shop. Instead, he's below it, in a large underground room that's perfect for a couple lightningwielders to spar. Xander's had a pupil he's been training lately, apparently, judging from the amount of time he spends down there.
