ghost kitty quickly runs into room six and closes the door behind him

Background: Pence is an aspiring author. He came to the Hat because of its affordable rent and to find inspiration. The other tenants are very helpful with the second half of that... He seems to have no family, but an awful lot of books...

Room Number: 13

Room Discription: Imagine the largest library that you have ever seen. Now imaginine all the books from that library inside a small 3 room apartment. That should cover Pence's apartment well enough.
He has a desk of pure obsidian with his laptop upon it that it relatively clear of books. The only other parts of his apartment that this could be said for would be the small kitchen and his bed. Elsewhere books are everywhere.

"One minute, Sir!" came Pence's voice from deep within the books. A lump in the surface of the books grew larger as it moved closer to the angry yeti. The books fell away in front of the manager to reveal the 17-year-old holding his wallet. He reached inside and pulled out a few pieces of paper money and a purple cow. "I hope this covers this month, Sir."

Pence breathes a sigh of relief. He hadn't been entirely sure his manager accepted purple cows...
He tunneled back underneath his books in search of the novel he had just been reading.
