To those he is heavily loyal to, he'd die for no questions asked.✓ Growing Mercy : Jack has learned that sometimes being merciful can pay off. He spared Matt Miller and in turn Matt Miller has become a useful friend and ally to the the Saints. With living proof that being merciful, despite it being viewed as a weakness (and Jack HATES looking weak!), he's come to ponder being more merciful....if it has a payoff. Stilwater will always be his hometown. It's where he grew up and was raised. However Steelport is his new home and where he currently resides.

It's yet to be determined if he's still the President of the United States of America as last Keith David checked he was the lowest scoring President ever in History...not that he cares really. He is also the new ruler (or as he puts it Emperor) of the Zin Empire since taking down Zinyak. No one has ever disputed since he took over him leading the gang known as "The Saints."

Jack was actually in a coma for five long years after crashing a funeral for Mayor Marshall Winslow of Stilwater. Jack had managed to kill the corrupt Chief of Police Richard Monroe only to have Winslow's rival, Richard Hughes attempt to kill him. Julius, the former leader of the Saints, then set off an explosive on the yacht the funeral was held on, killing Hughes and knocking him out cold. He awoke inside a prison hospital and with the help of another fellow inmate, escaped. Jack always states if asked that it was meant to be that he awoke when he did as he saved Gat from being executed for 387 murders and one count of attempted murder. Gat thinks is the main reason why Jack has a frustrating time remembering things and his "clunky and eccentric smarts" was born from. It's also speculated that he was perhaps way smarter and less violent before the coma as the Jack who awoke is vastly different from the softer, quiet fellow Gat first met.

If one was to go back to the time of when Jack was recruited, no one could nor would have ever predicted the timid, quiet, soft-spoken, obedient kid on the streets would become the loud-mouth, violent, psychopath he is now. It seems the more involved Jack got with the gang and the more he did for the Saints, the more the lifestyle rubbed off on him. There's also the matter that he is the Boss so to speak and has the ever pressing need to prove why he's in charge and no one else which could explain his violent tendencies and habits.

Gat is the only one who knows really how bad Jack's home life was when he was a teen. Jack's parents neglected him often and if they did pay attention, it was often abusive and negative. Eventually Jack got sick of it and became homeless at fifteen, wandering the streets. For a while he attended college, if only truly to live in the dorms it provided for the students to at least put a roof over his head and worked part time. Jack began skipping classes so much so that the college had no choice but to drop him and getting kicked out of the dorms in turn. It is possible and highly likely that this is where his weird love and fascination with Jane Austen was born. By the time Gat met him after he was initiated into the gang, it was clear he was homeless and in need of some friends.

JOHNNY GAT █ ˟ (Boyfriend)
the man, the myth, the legend. jack and gat were close friends and gat aided jack greatly in climbing the ladder so to speak. jack believed gat had died initially and when they were reunited while taking down the zin empire, jack confessed at last his feelings for gat who had returned it. it surprised jack and it still does as he figured gat wouldn't ever move on from aisha. maybe he is? jack isn't one to find out or burst his happy bubble.
SHAUNDI █ ˟ (Close Friend)
shaundi certainly went through her own ringer and the two grew close over the mourning of gat when they believed he was dead. unlike him, she sobered up and became more of a professional. she helps keeps him on the right path and does her best to keep him out of trouble.
PIERCE WASHINGTON █ ˟ ("My nigg* " / Best Friend)
besides gat, pierce is the only other person jack has a tendency to get into massive trouble alongside with. pierce is also akin to a puppy; always eager to show off and prove his worth to jack which jack entertains and encourages, fueling the horrible cycle.
MATT MILLER █ ˟ (Frenemies? Ally? Friend?)
to be honest jack isn't quite sure what to make of matt as the man was once an enemy who suddenly has now become a quiet a powerful ally. so far matt has been amusing and hilarious. jack has also been quite surprised at how easy they've gotten along with now that they've moved past trying to kill one another.
KINZIE KENSINGTON █ ˟ (The Surprising BFF From Nowhere)
what had been a rocky start to their relationship, when the zin empire attacked, jack initially clung to her in gat's place, not that kinzie minded really. the two got along extremely well despite their polar opinions on people and things, kinzie and jack did share briefly a fling before gat was rescued. the two still talk to one another and kinzie is determined to at least get jack better educated.

jack doesn't know much about her for now so he keeps her at an arm's distance.

while the robot has proven to be useful, he's still unsure if he can trust the robot. for now, it's an ally. a useful one at that..

keith was a friend. keith was cool. then keith backstabbed them in the stimulation and while everyone told jack to let bygones be bygones and look past it, jack isn't. the last motherf*cker who backstabbed them was julius....and jack killed julius to make sure it didn't happen again. he sure as ******** isn't going to let keith get an opportunity to. keith has a lot of a** kissing and ball sucking to do in jack's opinion.
