The hook is a neon green serrated and hooked blade made of a very durable steel that seemed to be infused with some other kind of material that's origin is unknown. The Hook is connected to a chain that can extends out to 100ft. Connected to the tail end of the chain is a lantern that glows an eerie green yet the connecting pillars of the lantern are actually 4 high caliber raging bull magnums.
Auras/ Semblances:
Gravity Anomaly: This aura is relatively easy for its user to activate. The aura greats a zero-g area out to a max of 60ft. Yet the aura is a double edge sword as it also effects its user.To counter this Artair has clamps built into his boots that keep him grounded. This does make him sitting duck though to range users.the semblance also allows for some more complex and simple actions
Soul Shred:
Effect:This ability has the ability to heal the user through direct interaction with another being by leaching the life of the creature. This ability can heal Fatal attacks to the user and regenerate missing skin tissue.
The ability can be used to heal teammates as long as affair has some form of connection with them and the the target.
DrawBack: Extremely hard to use and can only be cast at the verge of death(self).Only effective against grim and animals.
Greater Draw back:
The lanterns personality takes complete control of Artair. With full control of the users body the being can either do good or cause harm depending on the situation. This personality can also appear while under great emotional distress.

Bio The Veranor family and many others where part of a small village that was quite advanced for being outside of one of the main kingdoms. The village composed of scientist, black smiths, and warriors. Each group a fundamental aspect of the village. The village acted like and operated like one of the main kingdoms, yet they lacked the many numbers that the main kingdoms had, with only a little more then a hundred the village was destroyed in a grimm attack that killed all but two, who manged to escape the onslaught.
These two survivors made there way to Vale post haste on the back of a horse. The two survivors where Artair & Alicia Veranor siblings of the Veranor family, age 8 and age 10.The two siblings had with them supplies quickly pulled together with one of the items being Soul Reaper. Upon reaching the kingdom the kids where placed into an orphanage. This caused a tragic separation of the two siblings. One went with a huntsman and the other with a musician. Artair being the youngest of the two siblings was taken by the huntsman as he wished for a heir to his family after his passing. Growing up the young man found a fondness for books and reading. Yet the boy should great potential as a huntsman. His mastery of his family's weapon brought him into the eyes of beacon. Trained under the huntsman Artair believes he has the knowledge and will for the life of a huntsman yet his real wish is to avenge his blood family and return to the place that he called home.
