About Me
Favorite Color: Jade
Weapon of Choice: Foxhound: A powerful plasma pistol that fires energy rounds that can tear through targets. It also has a targeting computer linked to his scanning systems, meaning the bullets can home in on the target's heat signature. However, this doesn't guarantee a hit all the time, as LINQ's targeting systems are still outdated and can be fooled. For Example, If someone were to drop their output of body heat, the bullets wouldn't be able to track them. They can also be intercepted or deflected like any energy weapon.
Salem Noose: A high-tech combat whip built into LINQ's left arm, designed for battle, snaring, interrogation, and possibly torture. It has an electricity function for ensnaring and paralyzing foes, and has a blade mode which turns it into a seven foot chain of blades to rip through enemies.
Auras/ Semblances: Devastation Beam: LINQ's last resort attack. This power drains almost all of his energy, channeling it into Foxhound and firing a massive beam of energy to attack everything in its path. It has two major drawbacks: it has a chance of damaging teammates, and firing this beam forces LINQ to shut down and recharge for five hours, making him a sitting duck. He only uses it when he has teammates to cover him when his power goes out.

Bio
During the early days of Vale's research into making robotic super soldiers to fight Grimm and uphold the law, the R&D team wanted to make a machine that looked human, but could still fight with an aura like a Huntsman and outperform the common drone units. This machine would be one of the first synthetic humans capable of using an aura. This project was dubbed the Elysian Inquisitor. The Inquisitor was a special ops type unit, meant to do the work of hundreds of regular troops more efficiently.
However, the machine's software was faulty, especially in combat mode, where it was prone to attack any living thing, human or Grimm. While most of this was ironed out, the machine's targeting systems still often go haywire. After seven allied casualties at the hands of the Inquisitor, General Ironwood ordered it to be scrapped. Professor Ozpin, seeing potential for good within this humanoid machine, offered another alternative. If the Inquisitor model could make it through Beacon and become a Huntsman, Ironwood would be forced to provide it with proper upgrades and let it fulfill the purpose it was given. Going by the name LINQ, the machine desires nothing more than to prove that he is worthy of this opportunity. He wants to prove that he deserves to exist.
