Welcome to the new and improved "Furry Lounge"!!!
---This particular Guild has a long history of being multiple different things. It started as a hangout for friends, was made into a SecondLife group, then a .hack// role-play group, then a military-based RP group, and now this. Since the layout does look a little intimdating with so many CLOSED spaces, here is a little map to let you know where your posts should go:
1. General Discussion =
This is the main forum of the Guild (where you are now), and here is where Furries chat about whatever comes to their minds. This is a place to discuss your Fursona or whatever else you want to chat about. Mate begging is not allowed here, and all art should be posted in the Artist's Alley. Same as any role-playing should be posted in the Enchanted Forest and etc. But this is basically the welcome page where everyone stops in to say hello and to get to know each other.
2. Artist's Alley =
This is a place for people to post their artwork and offer their art for Gold. Those selling their art for actual money should NOT post here as actual services for real cash should be taken to the Marketplace. People requesting art may also post in the Artist's Alley.
3. Cupid's Corner =
This is a place for Furrs to search for mates. While there are those that hate mate begging, I figure, since it's bound to happen anyways, there might as well be a section for it. Here you can look for a mate or find other Furrs whom you wish to share a romantic connection with in whatever way you deem necessary. I will just say to keep it respectable, and anything too vivid in detail, please take it to PM.
4. The Marketplace =
There are a lot of talented furrs out there that either sell their art or sell furry accessories such as tails, fursuits, and etc. If you are selling anything for real cash, then feel free to post your shops here. Either from your DA, FA, eBay, Etsy, or etc...anything asking for real money is to be posted here for others to browse.
5. The Enchanted Forest =
I don't really feel like this one needs explaining since the [RP] is right there in the title. However, for those who might not know, the Enchanted Forest is used for role-playing ONLY. As per every other section, the Enchanted Forest has it's own set of rules. Basically we ask you to be respectable, to not barge into someone else's Private RP if you're not invited, and to not spam, god-mod, beg to be accepted into something, and etc.
6. Admin's Closet =
This is a private forum only for Crew-Members (Mods, Admins, Vice-Captain, and Captain). It is used to discuss ways on making the Guild Better.
7. Furry News =
This a place to discuss the Furry-Community in the news. Furry Polls/Surveys as well as videos from the news, and discussions on current events (con-schedules and such) might just go here. Anything having to do with news and media covering the Furry Community in any way should go here.
8. Gaming Furrs =
Do you love to play video games? Are you looking for people to join you on XBOX Live or on the Playstation Network? Maybe on PC for whatever game you might be playing? Well, then this is the place for that. Post about all your favorite video-games and try and find Furrs of similar interests. You never know what you might find here. Share gaming tips and tricks, and etc.
9. Writer's Block =
No, this is not a place for people that can't think of anything to write...it's quite the opposite. Poetry, story ideas, fan-fictions, and etc need to go here. Anything of the writing-sort gets posted here for you to share with other Furrs. Just like in real-life, do NOT copy anyone else's works without proper citing please.
10. "CLOSED" sections =
Because this Guild used to be a HUGE role-playing Guild back in the day, there are a lot of sections that are now un-used and closed off. However, if a person donates a good amount of money to the Guild (10k or so), they can buy their own Forum-section, name it whatever they wish, and use it for whatever they please. It's still in a trial-stage, but we think good things could come of it.
