//raises hand. "Teacher, I have a question."

The wikia is being rather elusive with me right now and I'm not entirely sure where to ask the questions.Wikia either bombards me with ads and lag when it deems me worthy enough to load even a little. or it Just doesn't load at all. If anyone can direct me to an alternative from well Wikia pages in general I would love you a lot. That way I don't spam with silly dumb questions that can easily be found.

When do I get to brutally murder and sacrifice my duplicate swords for resources? because my faves are literally feasting on steel faster than I can replenish it

Do I have to pay actual $ to send out more than one group on an expedition?

these questions aren't serious at all I'm just curious...

When will this game stop sacrificing sword children to send out in to battle?

Why is everyone thirsty for Jiji?

Where is the nearest exit from sword boy hell? Just in case.

I will delete this if I put it in the wrong place. my apologies on the thread title I cannot title anything properly and this is the best I could muster without writing something really stupid

I don't completely agree with all the facts this person posts but he or she's an okay source. There's a part one and two.

I do suffer the same stuff from the wiki. Maybe ad block? I'll be your info seeker for you though. You can also google the info.

•When do I get to brutally murder and sacrifice my duplicate swords for resources?
You know where you smith? There's a tab option under it that lets you trade swords for resources. The amount you get really isn't worth it too much so my recommendation is to use it to refine your swords. . ~ .

No! biggrin You can send multiple groups when you earn them. You can't send out your primary party though. You earn more by completing different tasks.

•When will this game stop sacrificing sword children to send out in to battle?
You'd have to specify what you're asking. Do you mean drops? Do you mean using swords in your party?

•Why is everyone thirsty for Jiji?
Rarest sword to get in the game.

•Where is the nearest exit from sword boy hell?
... Exit? I'm sorry, we don't have any of those.

Tips 'cause tips: Please don't KBC your first maps early in the game like I did. It makes it inconvenient to lvl up. KBC/Kebiishi (if you don't know) are these strong guys that randomly appear on the map and will wreck you if any of your swords are above lvl 10 and you aren't ready for them. To avoid spawning, don't go to a previously finished area and grind the same stage COMPLETELY. You can grind it but don't go to the boss. He'll trigger KBC after you do it a certain amount of time. The way you know you've triggered it is some samurai dude with lightning and a dragon marked on your map.

*The good thing about KBCs is the drops. There are some swords that you can only get from them. If you're hunting them they aren't really good in the first two eras 'cause their appearance rate is low. Still you can run into them so don't not expect them.

Let me know if you want further details.

I didn't know guilds were given a notification feature for threads.

Thanks. o u o

I did google some things but I mostly ended up with wikia links and facebook and a lot of links that Symantec freaked out on. I happened to run in to the same link shortly before you responded.

Oh, snap! Thanks! I can't believe I didn't notice that function in the smithing. ....my sons are worth more than that.

all around really. but mostly in drops. because i feel like the game is like "look I know that you hate sending out these adorable fluff balls into battle for any reason but here have another tiny sword child." I mostly get dog piled by Gokotai

emotion_sweatdrop I Uh... I already did the thing... but it's good to know what triggers it and why to avoid it. //coughs I did end up almost getting all of my swords destroyed in battle because I was all like "aye it can't be that bad"

But I'm really glad that I now have people to ask when I am too blind to find the answer myself while reading.

Pandassassin

there is a subforum for touranbu tutorials currently on construction, maybe when its up you can get some tips there! smile

answers to your questions:
1. our sword hold is only up to 50 swords (unless you have a card and can purchase extra slots in the shop) once we reah that capacity we are unable to collect drops and obtain smithed swords. destroying swords is a good way of freeing slots but only receives little amount of resources.
yes you may refine but ONCE YOUR SWORD REACHES TOKU LEVEL its stats will reset
(i will post a tutorial of this soon)

2.no you dont have to spend $ on expiditions, but your main team wont be able to do them. just your second, third and fourth team.

3.the tantou sword children? i dont think the game will stop let us cry together

4. Jiji is the highest rare sword in the game. I was able to get him but once you have him it is just like receiving any tachi sword smile

5. what is an exit?

Yeh, that's a thing

You're welcome.

I wish I at least got... 10 of each resource for sacrificing them. I guess drops builds up so they don't want to make the game too easy XD

Era 1 you can get Tantous, Wakizashis, and Uchigatanas
Era 2 you can get all of the types
Era 3 you can get all of the types
Era 4 you can get all of the types
Era 5 カカカ! No Tantous or Wakizashis
Era 6 you can get all of the types

Note: Not all swords of that type drop. The further you get the rarer/stronger they are in general. Also, the drops aren't uniform for the era. I just said the general drops to conserve space. Again, the further you get the rarer/stronger they are in general.

You can smith swords of any type whenever and it's mostly based on your recipe. Some say that level as well as leader sword impacts it but I haven't really tested it myself. It's up to you if you want to try that.

I'm sorry I couldn't help you in time D;

I'll also add troops are really important. They save your swords from damage and they're cheaper to replace compared to repairing some of your swords.

We're around to help and happy to do so. emotion_c8

Thank you. Both. If I could tip posts in guilds i would.

I should honestly get some index cards for this game. to store information i'm prone to forgetting easily.

I'm really terrible in tactical games but I always get addicted to those and wonder why I am terrible at the game.

I haven't hit th 1:30:00 hell yet I am sorry that I cannot feel the same agony as the rest of you.

Someone should totally make a Touken Ranbu 101... Just not me. I'm a terrible teacher.

I am using everything I have learned and I tried so hard to keep my friend who I have sucked in to sword boy hell to make the same mistakes I did and she did made them anyway.

I do look forward to seeing all the nice tutorials. the ones up so far are very detail oriented. I love it. I learned a lot that I didn't know.
