I'm a die hard fujoshi and I got a lot of favorite pairings in this game, but my top three would have to be:

1. KogiMika (KogistunemaruXMikazuki)
2. KuriMitsu (OokurikaraXMitsutada)
and
3. TsuruIchi (TsurumaruxIchigo)

idk with the guys tho, do you ship the swords together too??

It is kinda weird for guys to ship maleXmale but hey we like girlXgirl
but i kinda like the Ookurikara and Mitsutada ship. not in a intense yaoi way though. just like idk really close friends?

i guess it's also kind of weird for some girls (i guess i mean me, well yuri is cool but yeah haha) to ship girlXgirl
but its rare for me to find guys who ship maleXmale characters. I have guy friends who hate yaoi to the bone.

I wouldn't say it's weird 'cause of gender. That is only skin deep. I think the difficult thing is that many that work as ships are brothers.

My favorite brother set that I don't ship but really enjoy is the Samonji brothers 'cause Sayo is my favorite regarding backstory and all the fan art is cute.

** Also I enjoy the Kiyomitsu brothers 'cause Kashuu was my starter and they were my first recollection scene. Not to mention there was a photo where Kashuu was photobombed by his brother that I thought was cute.

*I also enjoy Tsurumaru and Sadayasu (his owner). Just the idea of him being ripped from Sadayasu's grave and spending eternally by his side seems pretty sad.

most people are uncomfortable shipping same genders i guess, but idk.
and true most of them are brothers so pairing them up will be just like having that close brother relationship.

and yes! the samonji brothers! i just want to hug them all and protect them from everything.
kashuu was my starter too, his backstory with yamatonokami is also probably one of my favorite backstories in the game.
