I have one. I lost my size Q hook and didn't know it until I found it in one of my daughter's "play" purses. She had stuck a number of my things in there and was "keeping them safe" for me. lol.

Anyway, I'm glad that I wasn't looking for it. I did wonder a couple of times why I couldn't find it, but I wasn't too concerned. I actually thought it was in a plastic storage box that I keep my rarely used crochet stuffs in.

I wouldn't have even looked in there if she hadn't asked me to help her find her pretend cell phone. So glad I did. cat_rolleyes Her phone was in the 4th or 5th play purse we looked inside along with more of my stuff. Kids. Gotta love'em!

I have a cursed hook. That's how it seems. Whenever I find a project requiring a 4.5mm hook, it mysteriously is nowhere to be found. I have 2 of them - a wooden one and a Susan Bates one. I do prefer wooden hooks over aluminum by the way, smoother and sharper tip.

All I can assume is, that because I use it so often, I must forget it with whatever project I'd been working on at the time. Just looked: I can't find the wooden one. O_o... sigh.

The hunt continues....

Not crocheting at the moment. But every time I open my work drawer, I see my precious set of clover hooks.

I'm glad I decide to go on my craft hobby shopping for a full set of clover hooks and yarn in Japan in stead off going shopping for brandnames in Shinjuku. razz

Because it's like twice as expensive in Thailand to get.

I see the most beautiful projects in Japanese craft books. How lucky you got to shop there! I'd like to go someday. Heh. I'd like to get married there. razz

and then later on I couldn't find the hook.
and my brother said he couldn't find it in his car.

so boo... looks like it will remain a WIP for a while longer yet.

Aw... Just saw this. That sucks, but hooks do have a way of dropping into black holes don't they? Did you ever find it again?

I checked my brother's car, just to be sure and I didn't see it.
I'll probably end up looking in my bag again, but thus far it looks like I'll have to replace it.
