Ja'Tesh is short for a Cathay Khajiit, with eyes the color of the clear blue waters of Topal Bay. This one keeps his mane tied back with a leather thong and is growing a Fu Manchu/Goatee combo; his fur is light tan, almost grey with no distinguishing marks. Ja'Tesh wears a basic tunic - provided by his employer - a gold and ruby necklace (a gift from a former employer), a gold ring (lifted from the corpse of a thief), and a leather cuff (a family heirloom).

Ja'Tesh is trying to be a farmer outside of Windhelm and moonlights as a guard for the surrounding farms.

Ja'Tesh has some talent with healing spells - a necessity on a farm - and is very fast. Ja'Tesh works at night as a guard, as no one else can see the thieves without a torch. He can also make minor healing potions, with wheat, which the farmer sells for extra income.

This one does not use weapons to fight, but is very good with his claws.

Ja'Tesh is very friendly. He has never met a stranger and is very flirty. Ja'Tesh is only violent if attacked first, but does not enjoy killing. He does not discriminate against any one race and is unique in that he doesn't hold any grudge against the Argonian race.

Ja'Tesh was born Solstheim. His family had been slaves in Vvardenfell until slavery was banned. Because they knew nothing else, his ancestors entered into a contract with their former masters, to work as servants. Each child was given the option to continue as a servant or to go out into the world and life his/her own life at age 13. This continued through the eruption of Red Mountain. Ja'Tesh's family followed their employers across the waters to Solstheim and did not break from the contract until only a few generations before he was born.
Ja'Tesh's parents were Ash Yam farmers - on another's farm, with their siblings working in the local ebony mines. Ja'Tesh hated ash yams. He hated eating them during lean years; he hated growing them; and he hated selling them to stuck up Dunmer, who acted as if they had never fled from Red Mountain. So, the moment people stared acting odd, Ja'Tesh hopped on the first ship out of Solstheim. He arrived in Windhelm with only a handful of gold, the clothes on his back, and a few sentimental trinkets. He was told, point blank, that he would not be allowed in the city. Ja'Tesh tried to reason with the guards, but only got thrown in the river for his troubles.
He was freezing by the time he reached shore, and was certain he would die not even an hour after arriving in Skyrim. Luckily, a local farmer took pity on poor Ja'Tesh. He gave him warm, dry clothes, a meal, and a job. Ja'Tesh now harvests wheat - which is not much better than ash yams - and is working towards either joining a caravan as a cook, or to travel as far south as he can - Ja'Tesh is starting to hate the cold.

Ja'Tesh is terrified of Slaughter Fish. He felt them brush against him as he struggled to get to shore and has been scared ever since. He will never admit it, but Ja'Tesh can be distracted by shiny things - he mother used to reflect light off of her necklace whenever he spoke of leaving - just to keep him at home. He also has a habit of speaking of himself in third person - as most Khajiit - or as "This one".
