An official-looking document gets posted on the Bulletin Board in the odd hours of the night. No one is quite sure who put it up or when it got there, but the news it carries isn't good...
OFFICIAL TRIMAGICK COUNCIL DECREE
It has recently come to the attention of the local Trimagick Council branch that there has been a severe security breach at the Academy of Merlin. The wards that held the Black Dragon at bay were destroyed by an unknown assailant, and said Dragon has been terrorizing the skies ever since. The Council has had its hands full with branch cooperation to bring this ancient terror down.
This breach of security is unacceptable. The Academy of Merlin is much more than just a simple school. The Academy is home to many, many powerful objects and creatures, including Merlin's Oak itself. This lax security has called Headmaster Louis Soulstone's ability to properly care for the Academy into question.
A team of Council agents will be attending the school shortly to evaluate the security of the school, and, more importantly, the effectiveness of the Headmaster. The Council is also looking into an incident from last October relating to the Blood Pact and several incidents in Justus involving illegal usage of dark magic, including one occurrence that resulted in the murder of a mundane. It is not yet known if this string of incidents and the incident in October are connected.
At the bottom is a loopy signature that you can only assume belongs to the local branch leader.
