Name:Emily Pierce Age:19 Gender:Female Race:Human Personality:Sweet and kind to everyone she meets. Emily is a very friendly, very optimistic girl. Always looking on the bright side of things and loves cheering people up or making them smile, which is one reason why she is usually very popular. She isn't quick to anger, but she does get quite annoyed when things don't go as she plans. She is a bit of a perfectionist, and as a result is very hard on herself in most areas of her life, but mainly with her academics. Bio:The youngest of the pierce siblings. She only has one other sibling and that is her older brother; Carter. Even though Carter is only two years older than his younger sister, he practically raised Emily since their parents were away a lot, either working or travelling. Other:In her free time she enjoys shopping with her friends, listening to music, and reading. Fatal Striker I might spruce this up later if I feel the need, but for now I decided to just give a general idea of what my character is like.

Username: Fatal Striker Name: Davis McGuire Age: 21 Gender: Male Race: Human Personality: Davis can start off as shy and awkward upon first encounter. Most of the time he hides his face and himself with his baggy clothes and big glasses he inherited from his grandfather. He has contacts but only uses them when he's out to work because they become easier to use. Usually, Davis only talks about video-games, manga, anime, computers, comics, or new technology development which makes other people categorize him as a geek or nerd. Other than that, Davis is commonly friendly with anyone and is willing to help anyone in need. Bio: Having both of his parents married together, and two younger sister, Davis being the oldest one of his siblings, he has a normal regular family. His family, however, is middle class and since Davis is going to college he has to work for his things meaning he had to find a part-time job. Secretly, Davis really loves cars, engines, and anything related to mechanics, which is why he is studying Mechanical Engineering with a major in automotive. His part time job is working at a mechanic's garage. No one really knows he works there except for his best friend, Carter Pierce. Sometimes Davis can turn into a whole different person while he's talking about mechanics or is at work, but since no one has really seen him like that no one really knows. Other: During his free time, Davis actually enjoys going to the gym, which is why he's actually pretty lean and ripped, but since he usually is wearing oversized clothing, no one can tell he's actually muscular and in very good shape. Other Pt. 2: This is how Davis looks when he's talking or working with something related to mechanics -->

"And I go crazy 'cause here isn't where I wanna be." "What?!" Davis exclaimed to his best friend, Carter, as he walked by next to him while they were at the mall. Both young adults had been waiting for the release of a new video-game that happened to be out today! They were excitedly talking about the new features that would be including and the immense world map that would be included. "Dude, last time I entered that level, they completely trashed me. I had to level up like twenty levels just to beat the first boss." Davis continued talking with Carter. David had been lucky that his best friend was into video-games just as much as he was. They rarely spoke about Davis's job or other interests but that was alright since it didn't bother either of them just talking about video-games, anime, manga, and other things for most of the time. The mall was full of people and needless to say, both guys caught the attention of a couple of people, and not necessarily because they were too attractive. Oh no. It was mainly by the way Davis looked. He was wearing a blazer that was one size too big, baggy cargo pants, and snickers. Yes, the guy was horribly dressed, but since he lived alone there was no one to tell him anything about his attire.

For Emily going to the mall was just another regular Saturday afternoon outing. She went almost every weekend with a group of girls from school. Unfortunately this time her friends were running late and hadn't yet arrived, so in the mean time she was stuck following her dorky brother and his friend around. She wasn't really paying attention to what they were talking about, she was too busy texting her friend Amber to see what was taking her so long. All she knew was that they were both going nuts over some silly new game. Her brother had been raving about it for weeks, and it was starting to get on her nerves. Em was purposely keeping her distance from the two guys. Every where they went they seemed to draw unwanted attention from the people around them, and she didn't want to be caught up in it. Considering how differently she was dressed compared to them however, not many people would see any connection between them. She was very stylish, and knew a lot about fashion. She was probably just as enthusiastic about it as the boys were about their gaming. She could sit for hours and talk fashion if she really wanted to, but she found that, that got quite boring. Especially if the person she was talking to had little to no interest in it themselves. Just then her phone started to buzz in her pocket. She quickly fished it out and started going through her messages. It was Amber texting to let her know she wasn't going to be able to make it. Emily sighed and messaged her back that it was okay. After that she continued to follow along behind Carter and his friend for another half an hour or so. But their gamer talk was starting to get at her. "Okay, I can't take this any more. I'm going shopping. See ya!" They were probably still too engrossed in their conversation to even hear her, but she didn't care she just left. Heading off towards one of the many clothes shops that were on the opposite side of the mall. Fatal Striker Meh. It was all I could think of at the moment, sorry. Edit.

 . . . . . .
"And I go crazy 'cause here isn't where I wanna be." Davis listend to what Carter had to say about the new game and the reviews it had gotten, and as he was about to add to his friend's point, he noticed that his sister had suddenly walked away from them. He sighed and shrugged it off. Carter didn't know it, but Davis thought that his sister was cute. Call it a crush if you like, but Davis knew he stood no chance with her for many reasons so he mainly kept his thoughts and feelings completely bottled up. Sometimes this is why most people thought him to be shy. Returning his attention to his friend he smiled and continued talking, well, that was until they reached the video-game store and saw a big red sign that read: 'The store is under repair. Game pick-ups were rescheduled for next week. Sorry for the inconvenience.' Both guys cursed. "What the hell? We waited all summer for this. The only thing we have going for us is that the new season for Noragami was confirmed." Davis said enthusiastically. Right after he said that he felt something in his pant's bag vibrate. It was his phone. He had gotten a message. "Must be from work..." he said as he took out his phone and read the message. The only text messages he ever received where from Carter, the phone company, or work. Lucky for him, his guess had been right. "Gah, I gotta go. They're running low on mechanics today. Talk to you on skype later. See ya!" he said as he began taking off rather quickly. Davis was really passionate when it came down to his work so he didn't mind he got called today even though it was supposed to be his free day. He assumed there must've been lots of work today since they rarely ran out of mechanics at the garage. Upon arriving, Davis quickly changed clothes and removed his glasses. He put on his contacts and got ready to work. He looked like a completely different person. No one would be able to tell he was actually an extremely nerdy guy. Right away he began to work.

Emily spent a good hour or two looking around the shops, but she didn't buy much. A couple of shirts, a new pair of shoes and a new cd. Ever since Amber cancelled on their plans, she wasn't really in the mood for shopping. Just as she was finishing up the last of her purchases, phone buzzed again. This time it was a message from her brother, telling her that his friend had left so he had decided to go home as well. It was a good thing they both had their own cars. Em decided she would go get something to eat from the food court, before she headed home herself. Twenty minutes later and Emily was in the car on her way home. The stereo was playing the new cd she had brought from the mall that day, and she was cheerfully singing along. Until she heard her car making a strange sound, and smoke started seeping out from under the hood. Em didn't know much about cars, but she new enough to know whatever was happening wasn't good. She pulled the car over to the side of the rode and turned it off. "Why? Why is this happening to me? Today is just not my day.." She had no idea what to do then, so she started rummaging through her glove box hoping she might find a number for a mechanic. She remembered Carter had said something about leaving a few cards in there in case she needed them. She found a couple in there and picked out a random one from the bunch, and dialled the number into her cell. It rang a couple of times before someone eventually answered. Emily first confirmed she had called the right number, then once she was sure it was correct she went on to explain everything that had happened. Then she gave the man on the other end the name of the street she was waiting on, and he told her they would send someone out right away. So Emily sat and waited in her car patiently until help arrived. Which fortunately didn't take very long. Fatal Striker I don't know much about cars either so, this was the best I could come up with, haha.

"And I go crazy 'cause here isn't where I wanna be." Davis was just done changing the oil from a car when suddenly his boss called him over. "Oy, boy! I need you to go over to this street and help the woman with her car. To what she described it seems she only has an over-heated engine. Now go." he said patting Davis on the back. Davis nodded and quickly grabbed his toolbox and placed it in his car. Following the directions, he finally arrived at the address he had been instructed too. "that must be it." he said as he spotted the car with the smoke coming out of it. Davis had a sleeveless shirt on because he got sweaty during work. Thanks to the shirt, his toned arms and body was revealed, and his messy hair happened to fall perfectly in to place. With no glasses but with contacts he was able to still see things perfectly well. He approached the car with his toolbox and set it on the ground. "Good afternoon. I'm Davis McGuire. I was sent here to help you from Taylor's Mechanic Garage. Was there an-anything else functioning properly before the car started throwing out smoke?" That small stuttering that Davis had done was when he looked up at the woman the car belonged to. Of all people, it had to be Carter's sister... She doesn't even notice me when I'm with her brother, so I better not get my hopes up... he thought as he focused on the car's engine. He had opened the hood to let out the smoke. "We need to wait around 20 minutes to let the engine cool down." he said as he continued to inspection the car carefully but closer. The guy knew exactly what he was doing and now he was trying to figure out what had caused the engine to over-heat. [OOC: It's okay xD Most people don't know anything about cars xP ]

Emily passed the time waiting for the mechanic to show up by playing a game on her phone, but as soon as she heard the car pulling up she put her phone away. Looking back at the car through her rear view mirror she was quite surprised to see the type of guy getting out. She didn't expect it to be someone so young looking, and...Hot. Em couldn't help but smile when he came up to the window and introduced himself. Something weird happened when he looked up and saw her though. He stuttered a little. She wasn't sure why, but she thought it was pretty cute anyway. It made her smile even more. "Everything was fine for a while. I was just driving and listening to the stereo when I heard a strange sound, and then saw the smoke coming out from under the hood, so that's when I pulled over"She watched him walk over and open up the hood so he could get a better look at what happened. At that point she got out of the car and walked over to the fence by the side of road and leaned up against it, still watching him, while she talked on the phone to her brother. She had decided to call him and let him know what was happening so he didn't start to worry. The phone call to her brother didn't last long, but he was grateful she had called. It hadn't been that long since she had sent him the text that she was on her way home, but he was so protective of her sometimes even too protective, and if she hadn't of called when she did, he would've gone out looking for her.

"And I go crazy 'cause here isn't where I wanna be." "Hmm..." Since ten minutes had passed from when Emily called the garage and now it had been another ten minutes, it was alright for Davis to get a look at the engine. "Ah-ha. I think I know what it is." he said looking at some liquid that seemed to be leaking. Just to make sure he looked around and even under the car, just for mere confirmation. "You have a coolant leak. No wonder your cooling system wasn't working properly." he said sighing in relief that he knew what was going on. It was basics but Davis still got glad that he was able to figure it out. "Stay back a little." he suggested to Emily. The car engine had been turned off and the water didn't seem to be boiling anymore so Davis figured it was alright to open the radiator cap. The cap was cooled off as well. Davis knew right away what he needed so walked over to his toolbox and grabbed all of what was required. After several couple minutes, he was finally done. "Well, it should be fine for now, but I'd recommend you go get that leak fixed, a.s.a.p. We can fix it at the garage if you'd like." Davis was commonly friendly but since this was Emily he was talking to, he was a little more friendly. In a way, he was glad she had no idea it was him, her brother's best friend, she was talking to. "Ask for me and I'll gladly take care of your problem." he handed her another business car he took out of his wallet. It wasn't a personal business card but one of the garage. "Now, I'll get going. It'll be only $15 bucks." He handed her over the hand made receipt he had made so she could see what he was charging her for. If she wanted to get her leak fixed though it would probably cost her around $45. He looked at her, hoping that she still hadn't figured out who he was. Wow... she really has no clue of who I am. I told her my name and she didn't even flinch. I guess she really never looked at me twice whenever I'm with Carter. At least Davis was aware he was a nerd and that Emily was, well, the complete opposite! There was no way she would ever pay attention to him.

"And I go crazy 'cause here isn't where I wanna be." A small though occurred to Davis, but he was not sure if he would be able to pull it through, however, he was not going to disregard this plan of his just yet. His thoughts, however, were interrupted when Emily spoke to him. "Thanks." he said referring to the tip. His clear smile bright as he smiled at her. "If you can, you can bring your car tomorrow. It'd probably take me an hour to change it. Maybe two depending on what I have at the garage. It usually doesn't take very long." he wiped his sweat with his hand. The sun was quite bright today and he was getting only sweatier with every passing second. "The card says at what time we open and the address. Bye now." he said with a small wave. He grabbed his tool box and without an further talk or turning around one last time, he drove away in his truck. As he drove, he felt his heart skip a beat. He couldn't believe that he had finally spoken to Emily and so casually. Sure, she had no idea of who he was... but it was something! This small thing had made his day. When he returned to the garage, he got back to work right away, but towards the end of the day he was dead beat. He was glad though that tonight he would be going over to Carter's house. Maybe, just maybe Davis could put on action his plan he had thought up earlier, but to put it on play he would have to talk with Carter. It was going to be a difficult task but not impossible if he was careful. I'm terrible for thinking this, but I think it might just work... Davis thought as he left work. He arrived home to bath change clothes. Naturally, he went back to looking like a giant nerd as he usually did. Once clean, he walked over to Carter's house. Luckily, they only lived a couple of blocks away. When he got there, he knocked the door, hoping to have Emily be the one opening the door to him.

Emily climbed back into her car and drove off. First going to the closest take-out joint to get something for Carter to eat like he had asked, as well as picking up a little something for herself. Then she headed home, eating her food on the way. As soon as the got there she headed straight inside to the dinning table and set Carter's food there, after that she went to her room. The Pierce siblings were actually quite well off because of the types of jobs their parents had, which was one reason why their mother and father could afford to travel as much as they did. It was also why they could afford to live in a big two story building in one of the nicer, slightly posher neighbourhoods in town. Her room was on the second floor. Which was nice because she had a lovely view from the veranda, but it was a bit of a pain going up and down the stairs all the time. Thank fully she didn't have much to carry with her because she hadn't done much shopping at the mall that day. Em set her shopping bag on her bed, then decided she would have a quick shower to help her relax and cool off a bit. It was a quick five minutes in and out, but it definitely helped. Afterwards she got changed into some of her more casual around the house clothes, and put her hair up into a loose ponytail, and headed down stairs into the living room. It was one of her favourite places to read because it was peaceful and quiet most of the time and the couch was really comfortable. She had brought a book down with her of course, from one of her favourite authors; James Patterson. It was one of the very last few books of his she had read, and she was about halfway through. So hopefully she could finish it that evening if she wasn't disturbed. However, just as she was sitting down and getting comfortable there was a knock at the door. She waited a minute or two to see if Carter would get it, but when he didn't she put her book down on the coffee table and went to open the door. She wasn't very surprised when she saw who it was. Her older brother's best friend. He had been hanging around a lot lately so she had actually half expected it to be him. "Hey" She smiled, even though inside she was really feeling a little awkward to be standing there with him. She didn't even know the guys name. "I'm not sure where Carter is, but if you want you can come in and wait in the living room while I go find him for you"

"And I go crazy 'cause here isn't where I wanna be." Davis lowered his gaze when Emily opened the door. The way he was right now he didn't even dare look at her face. It wasn't as if she was every happy to see him. "Umm... alright. Thanks...." Davis managed to say shyly. He was quiet most of the time, but with Emily he was just plain shy. She doesn't know my name yet... I think I can pull it off. I already texted Carter with my plan and he said he would go along with it.... he thought. Davis had told Carter to pretend that Davis's name wasn't actually Davis, but instead that it was Kevin. He also asked Carter to pretend that he had a twin brother who worked as a mechanic and that his name was... Davis.... "Hey, is it okay if I use your home phone? I need to call my brother, but my phone is broken..." he said in a low shy voice. What he said wasn't completely a lie. Davis's phone had broken today while repairing a car. It fell off his pocket and it got ran over. So much for a smart expensive phone.... Either way, the point of the fake phone-call was so that Emily could make the connection between Davis and him. All Davis was trying to do was to get Emily's attention. Hopefully it would work.

Emily's eyebrow quirked upward slightly as she watched him, he was acting kind of strange. She knew enough about him to know he was a rather quiet person, but this wasn't just quiet this was something else. He looked nervous, and she wasn't really sure why. She only hoped it wasn't because of her. "Are you okay?" She tilted her to the side curiously, and by the tone of her voice she seemed genuinely concerned. At that moment Carter had finally made his way to the door and when he saw Davis he couldn't help but smirk slightly. He did make sure his sister couldn't see though. It was quite amusing to him how hopeless his friend was where Emily was concerned. That's part of the reason he had agreed to help him with his plan. When Em heard the sound of footsteps behind her she turned around. By that time her brother had straightened his face and was no longer smirking. "Oh good, you're here. Saves me having to look for you." She didn't meant to sound so curt but she was really eager to get back to her book. She was about to leave when Davis spoke up again, asking to use their home phone. "Sure, I'll just go get it" With that she headed off towards the kitchen, where one of the phones from their home phone set was hanging on the wall and got it down. She quickly headed back to the were the guys were and handed the phone over to her brothers friend. "I'll be in the living room if either of you need me" Emily knew they probably wouldn't, but she said it anyway as she headed off back to the living room to curl up on the couch and finally get back to reading her book.

"And I go crazy 'cause here isn't where I wanna be." Davis made sure to stay near the living room area so that when he "spoke" on the phone with his twin brother, Emily would be able to overhear his conversation. He started dialing and called his brother at "work". "Davis! Hey I---- Oh sorry, this is not Davis? Hmm... am I calling Taylor's mechanical garage? Oh right! Sorry! This is Davis's brother, err... Kevin! Yeah, can I talk to him please?" he was hoping that Emily had paid attention to what he was saying or else it would just be a waste. Clearing his throat, Davis spoke again. "Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I'm over at Carter's place. When you get home do you think you can let mom and dad know? Oh, okay. Alright. Later." he said before he "hanged-up". He tried to make the conversation as realist as he could and for now he hoped it worked in capturing Emily's attention. Then again, he wasn't sure if Emily was even interested in him when he wasn't looking nerdy... It was all just a wild guess. When he was done with the phone he approached Emily again. "Thanks for the phone and sorry for the noise." he placed the phone on the table and started going upstairs with Carter. They were going to play some multi-player game at the moment. [OOC: Sorry that my posts are sort of starting off slow... It's just while we get to the main point of the rp. I hope you don't mind sweatdrop If you do then just let me know! I can change it! ]
