Since Gaia allows youtube video embedding, I've been debating on filming tutorials and stitch guides exclusively for Totally Hooked! On this subject, I'd like to know how everyone feels about this. Do you think it'd be worth the time?
Also, and I'll eventually open a thread for this in that sub-forum but does anyone have ideas on what they'd like to see? If I start doing videos, I'll definitely be taking requests. I don't know if I'll be able to do regular videos, but anything on request will be honored if possible.

I'm not exactly sure how it'd work, but a few folk here say it's hard for them to read / follow patterns. That might be a good starting point. smile

That's actually a really good thought. If someone is having trouble with a certain pattern they're working on, you could give help with it by posting a video on that particular part of the pattern.
You could do the regular stitches for beginners, but there are already so many of those that it's not really worth doing. I think that those type things would be a waste of your valuable time.
I know it would work perfectly for help on free patterns so you wouldn't have to buy the pattern. Or the person could just type out the instructions that they're having trouble with and you could demonstrate it in the video.
