I think the egg:
The egg produces a chichen which lays more eggs which provides it a way to reproduce.

egg, i beleive in evolution, not god, and the egg was used by dinosaurs long before any chickens had evolved the thought process required to cross the street.

The Fuzzy Reaper egg, i beleive in evolution, not god, and the egg was used by dinosaurs long before any chickens had evolved the thought process required to cross the street. I still don't think chickens think when they cross the street...I think its just us xd

How could it be the egg? The egg needed heat from a mother, and without a mother, would die. That's enough said.
