History: Marcus didnt start with a nice life. His family were simple farmer folk who had a meager living when he was born. Seeing the mark upon his arm caused his father to go into a rage, but his mother loved him all the same. As Marcus grew, he too learned the skills of a farmer and his father even came to accept him a little bit. But one day while tilling the fields they were struck by Ignis soldiers. It started with the fields, they lit on fire and burned so brightly that the night seemed like day. By the time Marcus had roused himself, it was now the house on fire. Marcus's father took him out of the house, his mother was already dead though his father didnt tell him that. When they got far enough away, his father hid him in an alcove and told him dont leave until morning. Marcus was scared but accepted it as his father left. Little did he know that his father was to be a decoy to get them away.
Alone and now homeless Marcus wandered. He was now smart enough to keep his arm hidden, but the times it was found out he was beaten and cut. He was robbed and near death when he saw the queen of Lux at the time. She was being pursued and was surrounded by Ignis forces. Marcus, while he was hurt had always been pure of heart. So taking a sword from a fallen soldier he charged at the men. He caught the first one unaware, but the others eagerly attacked him. Marcus being young and untrained was easily enough beaten back. But he had had enough, and that was when his power fully manifested. The sword as well as his body lit with white flames as power flowed into him. This set them back as they werent expecting it, nor were they expecting the vicious attack the child released against them. The queens soldiers were rallied and they helped fight them off. But as they were beaten back, they moved to dispatch Marcus. The Queen demanded to know what they were doing and they told her simply taking out the marked trash. The Queen looked upon Marcus with a soft expression and had her soldiers leave him alone, she then took him in. He has faced many more hardships from guards and such but he also devoted his service entirely to the Queen. To live for her, to die for her, to slay her enemies should they arise. And any Queen that shall rise will be under his protection as long as he is able to hold a sword. Overtime he has garnered the respect of others and even earned his nickname The Holy Flame, due to the nature of his power. Light mixed with Fire.
Personality: Marcus is warm and very friendly, going out of his way to help others and willing to defend the weak. Though he holds a darker side, he keeps it at bay easily enough.

Weaknesses: Women, its hard for him to attack a woman and he becomes a nervous wreck if flirted with enough.
