This is a role play between TheLordOfLamps and CLCyrus.
This role play takes place after Haruhiko was rejected by Misaki and moved on from his scheme to steal him from Akihiko. The two stars of this story are, of course, Haruhiko Usami and a foreign architect assigned to work with Haruhiko on an international project, Ross Carters.
Feel free to read along, but don't post if not requested.

Walking up to the reception desk, Ross waited for the woman to finish her phone call before speaking. Thankfully, when he told her who he was and why he was hear, she got on the phone to call Mister Usami immediately. Probably because Ross was already ten minutes late. It's not my fault my flight was delayed. Who was he kidding? Traffic and delayed flights weren't excuses in the bussiness world. Unless someone died or there was some sort of security threat. In which case, neither was one he could use. Thank the heavens.

Haruhiko Usami
Haruhiko had his phone buzz, letting out a low hum as the words of the receptionist, letting her know to send him up to the conference room. He walked over to the others who would be attending to conference. "Mr. Carter has arrived." He said simply, moving to his chair, standing beside it. He had been waiting for this project to start for a long time now. It wasn't often that he got to actually work with the architectural aspects of his projects. The last thing he got to work with was the aquarium. This was going to be a big one for him, and he was going to find to it that Mr. Carter would stay aboard as long as possible. Yes, Haruhiko wasn't exactly the warmest of people, but he could easily do things in a professional setting. After the stuff that happened a while back, he tended to try and step up his professional life. More of a distraction, but it let him move on from his crazy ideas that always seemed to pop in his mind concerning his brother. It was going to be his big project after he finally cleared his mind, and he had a silent prayer that for good luck.

Ross Carter Ross was instructed to head on up to the conference room, and after asking where that was exactly, he did just that. He took a minute or two to breathe and calm down before entering. It was easy to spot the man he'd be working with on the project, and he went over to take a seat. He was suddenly so much more nervous than he had been when he first got he assignment. Hopefully his nerves would calm soon.TheLordOfLamps Very. Also, do we know (or, care) what sort of building they'll be working on?

CLCyrus Uhmm... Maybe? It will probably come up at some point. Maybe a museum or something of that nature?
Haruhiko Usami
Haruhiko and the others in the room took a polite bow as the male entered the room, being a common action for him by now. He took his seat and waited for the meeting to start, the main director starting to introduce any of the people working on the project. Haruhiko stood when it came to him, and he bowed slightly. "A pleasure to work with you, Mr. Carter." He said in his best English before sitting back down, his fingers going to interlace themselves as he listened. He could see slight nerves in the male. He hoped that they would pass quickly so that they could start on the design.

Ross Carter Ross started to calm down as the meeting progressed, even able to give a charming and professional greeting in return to their introductions. Even if he was lacking in local mannerisms. He'd have to brush up on them since he'd be here awhile. As the meeting went on, discussing the usual topics such as location and design, Ross gazed at everyone in the room every once in awhile. He stayed professional, of course, but he was aware he stuck out like a sixth toe. Being the only one with blonde hair. It certainly wouldn't be hard to spot him. Ross cleared his mind of those petty distractions and focused on the conference. Of course, as the meeting drew to a close for the day, Ross returned to his silly thoughts. With some details taken care of, he had more room in his head to get back to them. Leaving the conference room when he could, he stood outside in the hall to wait. It wasn't really necessary, but getting to know the person he'd be working closely with on this project wouldn't hurt. When he saw the older businessman walk out into the hall, Ross smiled. "You know, I'm surprised at how poorly your picture depicts you. You're a lot more handsome in person." Complimenting him was probably going overboard, but he couldn't help it. Haruhiko really was attractive. That wasn't any joke.
