Did anyone else hear about this? How do you feel about it?
I know I asked like two of my friends on xbox and I kinda teared up a bit honestly sweatdrop because I have a lot of good memories on here.
I don't wanna switch to the One becuase , well 1) I can't afford it and 2) It's not backwards compatible..So, anyways, I was/am completely sad!

I assume that this is going to come with price drops for the One. It has already dropped in price and is cheaper when you buy it without the kinect. How much of your gaming library features online games that you'd no longer be able to play on the One? My 360 is currently collecting dust as I play my One more often than not.

Shouhei I assume that this is going to come with price drops for the One. It has already dropped in price and is cheaper when you buy it without the kinect. How much of your gaming library features online games that you'd no longer be able to play on the One? My 360 is currently collecting dust as I play my One more often than not. I don't really care for the kinect. so that's a good thing but I still think it's pretty expensive...that may sound sad but..yeah...lol. Xbone doesn't have enough games for me to wanna play though..I always go back to playing most of my 360 games even though people don't play them so much as much as they used to be.

But like I said, I won't give into the One until it gets backwards compatible or until the 360's internet goes out......gosh...saying that made me think about some sad story about a 'light going out' type of situation.... crying lol

Well that sucks. Microsoft really is trying to get to people upgrade, though I don't really believe Microsoft would be[or should be] that stupid unless this year is when all gaming companies make that switch to just making nextgen games. It sort of makes sense, still XboxOne really doesn't have a good library right now and things aren't exactly looking good for it.

Sometimes I wish I could talk to them personally to ask them what they are thinking... xD It would be good if they actually talked to gamers face to face...

Some of them do ^^ just gotta know who does. From what I can tell it might be a good while before that switch can really be made, because like the playstation 2 [which I still have and played final fantasy 11 on], the last gen systems have too large a library and fanbase for it to be shut off so soon without costing them A LOT of money, and it seems many of the companies are still planning to cross-gen their games. I think Xboxlive for the 360 should be around for awhile, at least until Microsoft finds a way to say their new box from utter annihilation. That, and I'm not giving up my 360 since the one has no backwards ability. Still, I also wish they would talk to fans more XD It would certainly help dispell worry.
