The walk to the dorm had been quiet, Rayvin hadn't really seen many people out and about. But it wasn't surprising considering the school was just starting up for the season. Looking up at the outside of the door she wondered if the inside was really as nice as she'd read about considering the outside was fairly uniform. Opening the door a light smile touched her lips upon seeing how nice the living room was. Adjusting her backpack briefly she walked to her room and unpacked what few belongings she had, taking a moment to examine the decor on the ceiling of her room. It was only a circle above her bed but it made her smile even wider, it depicted the night sky with a few constellations and she found that with the right switch on the stars lit up. It created a comfortable atmosphere in which she knew she'd have no trouble falling asleep under. After taking some time to roam about her new dorm, taking notice that there were no other belongings in the other rooms, she grabbed her swimsuit, a towel, and a bag then stepped back out of her dorm and began heading in the direction of the pool.
Hiding her ears under under her big hoodie, Kira walked into the dorm she'd be staying at. It had a very down to earth feel, well, it was obvious there was plant like coming up out of the flooring on purpose. She grabbed the straps on the back pack she wore and gave herself a tour around the dorm. She visited the kitchen and learned where the main bathroom is and the living area where she can find her dorm mates mingling, but non of them around. The school was still fairly new, so she didn't think much if it. She sniffed the air and twitched her nose out of habit finding that only one person was here, but not for long. Kira thought it to be her other dorm mate and wondered if she would meet her or him soon. She continued her personal tour to the room and found the one she was assigned. It seemed to have and under ground living home feel. It was absolutely perfect. She set her back pack down and crawled onto the bed pulling the draped curtains closed cutting off some of the light. Kira popped her ears out of the hood while she rested pulling a fresh carrot from her pocket and began to nibble and eat it.
Coming back from the pool was uneventful as she didn't know anyone yet, but that was alright with her for now. It was, after all, her first day there and she hadn't formally met anyone. She walked back to her room, leaving the door open, and set her bag on the bed and unpacked it, draping her wet items over one of the branches of her bed to dry. Quietly she decided that she'd wash them later when she had more laundry. As she draped her towel over the branch she saw a bird house that she hadn't noticed before also hanging from a branch. Grinning happily she shifted into a small bird and flew up to it and perched outside the entrance, taking a moment to look inside curiously. It was dusty and a spider had once lived there some time ago, but had either left or died. Landing on the floor Rayvin shifted back into a human and grabbed a clothe and took down the bird house, taking the time to clean out the inside of the house before hanging it back up. Shifting back into the bird she flew up to the little house and entered it, it was comfortable though she'd have to get something soft to sit on to completely enjoy the bird house. Rayvin decided that this would be the place she'd go when she wanted to be alone. It made her happy to have the small space as a sort of reserve. It wasn't that she didn't want to be around people, she just wanted to be sure she had a place to get away to when she wanted it. Her joy made itself known as she began to tweet out a happy song, not knowing that someone else was in the dorm to possibly hear her.
As Kira was relaxing she began to hear some tweeting from inside the dormitory, causing her ears to perk up. She sat up on her bed and bit another chunk you of the carrot before opening the curtains around her bed. No one was there but her, but the tweeting continued. She hopped off her bed and out to the hall. The bird noises where getting louder. Curious she bit into her carrot again and made her way down the hall and a silent skip. At room two the bird sounded the loudest. Kira opened the door and stood holding it wide open. There was no one. She cocked her head to the side and took another bite of her carrot. There was a bird house so there must be a bird in there, but where is the owner she questioned. She wiggled her nose as she silently stood in the door way, only the sounds of her munching her food was audible.
Hearing an unknown noise close by she stopped her song and became curious, hopping forward a little she poked her head out of the bird house. Upon seeing a rabbit girl just inside the door. Hopping out onto the perch she examined her girl from the safe distance before flying to the floor and shifting back into a human. "Hi there. I take it you're one of my new roommates?" Smiling at the new person she quietly folded her arms behind her back, one way that her shyness showed itself. Keeping a little distance between them she watched to see if the other female was hostile or not.
Kira spotted the bird peaking out and hopping out onto the perch of the bird house. She then looked at the dorm seeing a wet swimsuit hanging and some other things that seemed shifted about. She went back to the bird as it flew onto the ground and transform into a human girl. The girl immediately greeted her and questioned if Kira was also staying in this dorm. One of her bunny ears twitched as she blinked and stared at the girl. Taking another bite of her carrot she gave a nod and continued to stare at the girl examining her features and clothing style to get a rough base of what kind of girl this bird girl is.
Shifting a little on her feet she was happy to have met one of her roommates, taking a moment to watch the girl she deemed her to be non-hostile. Looking around the room a bit she wondered what was to happen next, as she wasn't used to talking to people she didn't know. "So... I'm Rayvin. It's nice to meet you." It was something she knew was needed to try and get to know people, and wondered if she'd get to know many other people while she was here.
