Cheshire's horns and tail are actually those striped colors originally, however it is good to know that depending on her emotion or mood she is in, her horns, hair and tail have a tendency to sometimes change colors. It does not, however, help her at all with any of her powers.
If Marked, where is the mark? (You may also provide a picture if you want): If you can navigate through that floofy hair of hers, it's actually near the back of her neck. With her hair being so thick it was near impossible to find.

History: Cheshire doesn't know much about where she came from. She does understand however that she was taken as a young child from her parents. The tiny girl was an easy target because of her horns, and some seemed to find interest in it. As a result, she was kept almost like a pet. What Cheshire didn't realize was those same people saw her as nothing more than a pet, for they saw the mark at the back of her neck. Cheshire didn't understand what exactly the mark was, and to be honest, she only knew enough to let her hair grow out to cover it. In her minds eye, she was considered a non-human, while her captors were human. As such, Cheshire finally came up with another sort of naming for herself; an Anubis.
Her captors allowed her to have only one activity, and that was ballet. As she grew, she taught herself how to read, how to write, and most important of all, how to escape where she was and fight. She was always looking for an escape, and always looking for a way out, however the violence and abuse against her also grew with each day. One night, she finally got her chance. Those people had allowed her to at least take ballet, and after the opening night of a performance, she faked her own kidnapping. Ever since, the little ballerina has been on the run.
Personality: Friendly but nervous about all humans, especially boys. She is, oddly enough, not as shy about nudity, but that's because she doesn't really see bodies as anything else but bodies. In fact, the only reason why she wears the ballet clothes that she does is because she likes them; otherwise she doesn't quite understand the concept of clothes. While she is friend she finds it hard to trust, she would like to think that she could one day have some friends. She doesn't understand why the mark distinguishes her, and only seems to comprehend that she must hide it, causing her to sometimes cower away from a person. She can be sassy and very blunt at times, though she doesn't mean to. She will often try and hide from people first and attempt to study them before approaching.

Strengths: Cheshire is quick and agile, able to land many hits and dodge because of her dance training. She uses Ballet as a means of a battle style, but in reality she absolutely loves to dance.
One of her strengths lies in her abilities. She has the power of shadows and spirits to aid her.These shadow powers can range from illusions, transformations to full on attacks depending on what she does. Singing can even trigger these powers sometimes, though it has been more of a rarity in her power activation. Again though, she does not even understand what is happening because these powers are just activating.
Cheshire's inner light is what keeps her balanced with her dark powers. With this, she can eventually make herself float for some distances, summon small creatures of light, and heal.
Weaknesses: She is finding out new things about her powers, and sometimes this startles her. She is immensely afraid of telling somebody about them for fear of being turned away. Sometimes, she goes as far as to not show them, relying on her weapons instead. Cheshire can still be hurt by any other means except for light and dark, and if she does not balance out, her one power could consume the other for a short time, the result being that it takes her over or overwhelms her.
Additional Information: Chessy loves to sing, and she actually has an almost ethereal voice to boot. It is that beautiful, and can sometimes even affect her powers. Her ballet abilities are on par with some of the best dancers in the world when it's general dancing. When she dances it's almost hypnotizing. She loves children and would trust herself more around a human child than a human adult. Cheshire has come to not trust anybody who even vaguely resembles a human because of the harms inflicted on her. In actuality though, she is a nice and sassy little girl who would love to have a friend.
