Personality: Thrie generally has a quiet personality and keeps to himself. He is calm, collective, and calculative, making sure all options has been thought thoroughly before speaking or making a decision. Once a decision has been made, Thrie will see it through with utmost vigor to ensure highest chance of success. Thrie has lived mostly as a lone wolf, only making acquaintances rather then friends. However, during his Junior year in high school, he found himself to easily get along with a freshmen girl named Coulette Ishida. He became good friends with her ever since even after she had transferred away to another school to pursue her specialty.



History: Thrie Barton, son of William and May Barton, a carpenter family. The Barton family were wood workers that designed and built furnishing of various styles and sizes. Located in the heart of Durem City, a metropolis of high rises and business, they were never short on customers. It was easy to see that Thrie would eventually join his parents' business and continue on with the carpentry lineage.

The one person Thrie could truly call a best friend was a freshman student named Coulette Ishida that he met during his junior year in high school. What drew Thrie's attention to Coulette was probably because of her personality, which was complete opposite from him. Even in their short time together, they had developed an inseparable platonic relationship before Coulette transferred to a technical institute to pursue her dream.

Seeing Coulette's star shooting ambition, Thrie had no doubt Echo Prime would target her intellectual ability and this prompted Thrie to aim for Echo Prime as well. After taking the aptitude test after graduating from high school, Thrie did not hear from the government about him being picked so it was assumed that he was not chosen. With that in mind, he applied for college to obtain knowledge in the business field. However, just a week before his first class, Thrie received a letter of acceptance into Echo Prime that offered him a position in the enlisted ranks.

The news was a mixed emotion to the Barton family. Being accepted into Echo Prime nothing short of the highest honor but landing in the position of an enlisted military personnel felt as if they have been dealt a short hand. Nonetheless, despite his parents' protest, Thrie accepted the invitation to be part of the elite system that is the Echo Prime.

After entering Echo Prime, Thrie was surprised by how fairly easy things had gone for him. The training was not as difficult as he had imagined, prompting him to wonder if this was really the famed Echo Prime that people spoke of. Upon completing his training, Thrie soon realized that the training which seemed easy to him was a level far above what the average civilian was capable of learning. Outside of the military facilities was an entirely different world and he has only seen a small part of the city.

Every night was not without some kind of disturbance requiring military personnel to police multiple crime scenes in the vast catacombs of the city forgotten under Echo Prime. Even after Thrie has reached the lowest level deep beneath the city, he discovers even more evidence that there lies yet another unexplored catacombs below.

Back on the Prime Decks of Echo Prime, the upper levels of the city where the lite enjoy the safety and luxury of a high life, Thrie has been recognized as an invaluable individual in keeping the Prime Decks safe from the subhuman cutthroats that hide like rats in the underground levels of the city. He has earned a number of awards and recognition that hastily pushed his promotion more quickly than his peers. In just seven years, he attained the highest rank available among the enlisted forces.
