I've been away for a long time. Things are going to change in this guild.
Open to any ideas-in anyone would like. We need to clean this place up.

Still around. Still a resident of the wastes. In fact playing Fallout 2 (restoration pack) now. Seeking out and playing all those obscure quests i never got around to. Plus this game is still fun to just play after all these years. Im hoping to be able to get a copy of Wasteland 2 soon. With the Fallout IP completely in Bethesda's hands, i suppose its poetic justice that its all come full circle in that Wasteland is now in the hands of the creators of Fallout, itself a spiritual successor to the original Wasteland game. What are your thoughts? Are you going to play Wasteland 2?

I'm excited for E3 this year, I am expecting either an announcement for Fallout 4 or A Fallout 3/NV HD for this generation. I would love either. smile

From the videos ive watched of gameplay, it reminds me a lot of how Fallout: Tactics played. Much like the original Fallout games, it looks like a HUGE game with hundreds upon hundreds of hours of gameplay.

Greetings, vault dwellers.
I've been playing Wasteland 2. It's the only thing keeping me sane while I wait for Fallout 4.

I'd suggest having a weekly challenge for the community to do. Something they can do with an existing character, not something they have to start a whole new run for. Starting a new run every week is a good way to get people really sick of Fallout.
There's no simpler way to go about it than to have guild members suggest challenges themselves and have a general vote via polling.
No idea how much RP y'all nerds used to get up to, but RP seems to be the lifeblood of most Gaia guilds. lol I've observed that guilds with organized RP events are more prosperous, whereas guilds with a bunch of RPers faffing about all willy-nilly don't do as well.

The guild we stemmed from had...did we have over 9000 replies? I think we did. I remember making a joke about it. I think it was 5000 pages or something that I remember.
With RPing I feel that a lot has to be set in place, and easy to reference, so that we have the most streamlined set for making posts. Perhaps some feel unsure with their posting abilities because some people post 1000 words per reply. We got away with at least a paragraph or more, with one or two people making a sentence or two to revive the thread when it got quiet.
Has anyone received any notification about postings here on the guild? I have to actually check things out here, which is why all my replies have taken aeons to get here. Is there a setting I can hit so i can see replies to threads or something in this guild?
