I know I don't want to be a city elf. razz I want to be a Dalish elf that is free. I hate humans. Humans have caused a great deal of unhappiness for my family. Oh, yes. I have magic. 3nodding I have a fawn as a companion. (I have kept it a fawn by magic. Eventually, it will become a stag crying ) I have a bow!!! lol I have some healing arts that I learned from my paternal grandmother. So, you can have any role you would like in the clan. biggrin

A halla would be more appropriate for an elf, but i see no real reason as to why you could not have one.

Well, my mother hates humans. She had been a city elf. Her father was double crossed by his employer (a human) and killed. Then her mother, her older sister, and herself were sold into slavery. Her sister was forced into prostitution. My mother was too young and her mother was able to weave (which was criminal for an elf to practice). Yeah, I know slavery is illegal (except in Tevinter) but it is done all over. My grandmother gave up her life so her two daughters could escape. They made their way to where the Dalish elves dwell and were accepted into my father's clan. My Dalish grandfather trades with humans but he doesn't trust them. My Dalish grandmother's favorite saying is, "Humans are the taint!!" Then she spits on the ground. lol Back to the books!!!

I won't force you to make a heraldry but it is typically a nature scene or depiction of a god that makes it easy to identify your clan from the others.

I'm checking it out. BTW One of my Gaian friends went through a "ritual" that gave me the power of flame. lol (She is really something!!)
