I just wanted to talk about this somewhere....so prepare for my rage! evil
So, I watch MLP with my 7 year old cousin whenever she comes over and sometimes show her my fave songs made by Bronies. But other than showing her some songs or telling her what a Brony is, I try to keep her out of the fandom for reasons (I'm lookin at you cloppers!).
But one time when I was over at my aunt's house, I was telling her what Bro-Hoof meant and my uncle decides to say that Brohoof was a dirty word and that he heard it from a guy he knew.
I was all like 'Dafaque are you talkin about?' but I didn't say anything to him. I just ended up crying...Then, a month later, he completely BANS my cousin from even speaking about MLP. scream Again, this made me very ticked off as I only watch the show with my cousin because we both like it...and she's only 7 years old!
And I even plan to buy her a Twi EQG doll (she's a huge fan) in a couple months too!
....I just wanna enjoy somethin' with my cousin... crying
So, what would you guys do in this situation? I really need some help on this.

Both my sisters are haters, but I assumed so.
They just hate whatever I like, because they exist to hate me.
In your situation, get it for her if she likes it. Screw what he thinks. You can tell him I said that if you wish.

I am a bit of a convert. I dont love ponies, but I love fantasy, Touhou, elder scrolls, all that sort of stuff. And behold, MLP is just like those only with animals as the main characters which honestly is not all that bad. I just wish it had more combat centered themes. And focused more on the heavy mystery stuff like the elements and whether or not there are any more out there.
But yeah, I used to be a huge hater, and I dont know anyone who would not turn hater the moment I introduced it.
^_^ though honestly Im just a closet brony and I dont think that is going to change
