Science Role Medical: The primary function of the science department is the medical field. Doctors, nurses and medical technicians are always in a state of battle to combat health complications and develop cures and preventive science to ensure a healthy society. Medical science is a complicated field where business must be conducted in a controlled and sealed environment. The resulting side effect from the tiniest mistake could potentially be a level far in magnitude. But a successful research and experiment can save lives and further enhance the quality of life of humanity. There is a heavy oath one swears to be part of the medical team. Expeditionary: Even as well developed this world is, there are still many undiscovered wonders around the world. Expeditionaries journey to the far reaches of this planet to find things never seen before or to locate more rare artifacts to be studied. Be it crawling through caves or traversing through trap filled tombs, life as an adventurer is a thrill and danger. Expeditionary scientists can enlist the help from the military or private military contractors for protections or specialty skills to aid in their adventures. Laboratory: Laboratory scientists slave majority of their life in their labs theorizing, preparing, experimenting, recording, rinse & repeat. Scientific fields such as astronomical, chemical, biological, physics, geological, Earth, and Social are only a few categories in the vast recorded human knowledge and each have their own boundary. Laboratory scientists must continue to research until they make a discovery that would push the boundary of human knowledge even further, opening up new opportunities that may have seemed impossible in the past.
