Materials. 4 goat's
milk bottles (add oz/size) {so far}
.
Lityarn Linen Thread or nylon thread on spool or size #10 crochet cotton thread
. 35 squares [6 cm * 6 cm] out of the four bottles above (10 from each one)
. Template* using one of the squares.
Tools . 1.25 mm crochet hook
. another crochet hook (optional) to pull up long loops
. 1/4" hole punch (or smaller)
. scissors (to round the edges of the square)
. Marker pen.
Optional:
. Acetone (to remove lines if using permanent marker)
Note: The plastic, if rather hard, makes using the hole punch difficult. The tool isn't all that sharp. It may help to wrap the punch in a thick, soft cloth to reduce stress on your palm.
Template:
1) Find the middle of square by marking the 3 cm halves perpendicularly.
This is a guide to centre the hole punch around.
2) Mark circumference at 0.3 cm in from edges.
3) Mark a square in the middle of the template, 1.5 cm in from each edge.
4) For the middle holes, center the hole punch slightly above the line. (4)
5) For the outer corner holes, come in slightly from the corners the markings make.
The holes will be a tad above the corners. (4)
6) For the inner corner holes, do the same - come slightly above the corner markings.(4)

Working the edging:
1) 5 sc in any centre hole on the outer edge.
2) 5 long sc in the closest corner hole of the inner square.
3) 10 sc in the corner hole of the outer edge.
4) 5 long sc in the same hole used in Step 2.
5) 5 sc in the next outer edge hole.
Repeat steps 2 to 5 all around the square. Join to first sc with sl st. Cut yarn. Pull the end right through and weave in neatly.
