Bio: Before peace was allowed to spread throughout the kingdoms, the humans were hard at work creating weapons that would give them the upper hand. Deep within the borders of the kingdom, a secret research center was conducting controversial experiments in order to build destructive weapons. These experiments included the removal and distributition of various forms of DNA.
Experiments were hardly successful. Most life forms dwindled within the first few weeks of life. The scientists grew desperate and started more experiments on humans, finding human DNA to be more resilient. After more wasted months, they had in their hands a baby girl. A baby girl with wings. Tests began immediatly.
Years passed and the tests evolved into painful procedures and difficult experiments. Treaties came and passed, but the human kingdom continued their experiments. They were, after all, the weakest race strength wise. The baby girl, called only by her experiment tag, was subjected to years of abuse. Living in a dog crate and receiving minimal food, she was forced to grow up early. There was no time to "be a kid" when your life was on the line.
Finally, during a track experiment outside, the self-dubbed Quinn made her escape. She dashed into the surrounding forests, all the while being chased by the genetically modified guard dogs. Having never been allowed much time outside, the 16 year old girl had hardly any idea how to fly. But her life depended on her learning. And fast.
She made it to safety. Or so she thought. Three years were spent on the run, alluding the henchmen the scientists had sent to exterminate the rogue test subject. Max moved from place to place, kingdom to kingdom, only to keep just out of death's grasp. She had built up her strength and resilience, but forever fleeing from a bunch of crazy super nerds tired one out. Seeking shelter, Max enrolled herself into the only school she felt would keep her safe.
