Helios made his way into the forest for the test. Roxanne had gone further ahead to scout out what laid before them, but Helios wasn't one to just stand around and wait. Whipping out Echelon and Epsilon, Helios launched himself into the forest. There wasn't much where he was but he did notice something further ahead of him. He would tell Roxy later and they would investigate together. The only problem now was that he was surrounded...oh wait that was their problem not his.
The gunner clicked his heels and a steel plate formed on the bottom of his boots giving him less traction and making it easy to slide. Helios counted 7 Beowolves. This would be easy. The first one made it's attack and lunged at the boy. Helios turned and fired quick bursts into it. The force from his shots made slide backwards. As he slid, he turned and fired again and again. Sliding between Beowolves, weaving and dodging. When it came to the last, Helios shot and slid right to the beast and slid between its legs. Disengaging the the plates on his boots, Helios stopped dead and jumped onto the creatures back hooking his sickle blades around its neck. with the pull of two triggers...the beasts head split into four parts. Just as Helios finished the Beowolf, he saw Roxanne walking towards him. "Yo Roxy, did you see anything while you were out there. Theres something strange to the north east." He said pointing our towards the center of the forest.
