Appearance: Mizuki has grey eyes (#A7AFA4) that are in the monolid style. Her hair is pure black and straight. If left down it reaches her mid back, but she normally wears it up like this. She has straight bangs that come right above her eyes. Her skin is very pale, she burns easily if in the sun, and has grey freckles the color of her eyes dusted all over her body (the biggest clusters are on her shoulders/clavicle). She has a long torso and long limbs to match it, giving her a very slender body shape. She is a little on the tall side for her age, standing at 5'7", though she hopes not to grow any more. Her face is oval shapes and she normally has an easy going smile on her face. She likes to look cute in her clothing, rarely ever wearing jeans and only wearing sneakers if she is forced to do so. She loves dresses, and has gotten pretty good at wearing heels in the last few years thanks to her older sisters. She also has a love of tall socks. (here are some examples of outfits for her)

Mizuki was raised to be polite, especially to ones elders or those with authority over her. Please and thank yous are a must, as are little head bows when meeting someone for the first time. For the most part Mizuki is polite to everyone, even if teased about it. The only time she isn't polite is when she is extremely angry, and even then a few polite words might make an appearance. This trait has been taught to her from a young age, and she finds it very strange that not everyone is as polite as she is.

Sometimes when she speaks you have to strain your ears to hear what Mizuki is saying. This is especially true when she is feeling embarrassed or around new people. As she gets to know the people she is with she will get a little louder, but even then her voice is typically much quieter then most people. Her voice also doesn't really have a shape edge to it, even when she is angered. It's something she doesn't like very much, especially since when she's mad she doesn't really sound like it.

It doesn't take much to make Mizuki happy. A good book, sweets, interesting conversation, coloring pages, just about anything can bring a smile to her face. It doesn't take much effort to keep her happy. And once she is in a good mood it takes a lot to bring her out of it.

When Mizuki takes a liking to something she often goes over board with it. She doesn't seem to just like something, often she loves it. Sailor Moon would have to be her prime example, since although she isn't a child anymore she still has many memorabilia and even dresses like Sailor Moon every Halloween. Although she has yet to form a crush, it's very likely she will become obsessed with the person when she does.

Until her mother died nothing bad had ever happened to Mizuki. She lived a sheltered and privileged life, as did many of the people that she knew. To her the world was a wonderful and safe place where you could do pretty much whatever you wanted. Although after her mother died she realized that the world wasn't perfect her father has made sure that she is still as sheltered from the evils of the world as possible.

History: Jiro Yukimura and Chikako Yukimura met when they were in lower secondary school. They were paired for a project and became fast friends. As they grew their friendship did as well, with Chikako harboring a crush on Jiro for some time. It wasn't until their last year of upper secondary school that he asked her out, much to her delight. The two of them dated for a while and eventually got married. A few years after their wedding they had their first daughter, Seiko. A year later Chikako was pregnant again with twins Akio and Taro. The couple were done with having children, happy at the size their family was at, but accidentally got pregnant with Mizuki four years later.
Still the family was happy. Her father worked as a CEO for a business firm and made enough money that her mother was able to be a stay at home mom. Things were pretty much perfectly normally growing up. Occasionally she would feel things that other people did, but when she told her mother about these occasions her mother just chalked it up to her being an empathetic person and urged her not to worry about it. At twelve things began to change for Mizuki. Her mother was diagnosed with cancer. Within a few months she went from being upbeat and always on the move to being in bed most of the time. Her siblings and her tried to make things easy for her mother and do chores around the house, but it wasn't the same.
Two months after Mizuki turned thirteen her mother passed away. The family was distraught. Things slowly turned into chaos, and when her older sister Seiko left to America for college it only got worse. After a year of turmoil her father decided that he was going to move all of them to America. His job was expanding and he saw it as a good opportunity for his family to start all over.
Everything was still hard, but adjusting to life in America wasn't impossible. People found Mizuki nice and she joined a Sailor Moon fan club in her school. It was two years later during one of those meeting that she was extremely excited and caused a light bulb to exploded a light bulb. The room had gotten very bright, with the light bulb being the source, before it blew up. Luckily for her one of the other girls in the room happened to be the daughter of a psychonauts and she was alerted about Majesco Psychic Academy. After talking to her father about he agreed that it might be best for her to be around people like her.
