I wish nothing but peace for the Monty, he passed away while surrounded by loved ones and his fellow co-workers. They were by his side the entire time and not only that but their was also what I can assume is an army of support from the community. I noticed the captain sent out an announcement (No this isn't a retaliation or anything, I figured that since you found it hard to type that, I would put this vote up.) But if you need a refresh read.
I was talking with a friend and my vote, I think that the guild shouldn't be changed and shouldn't be closed. The only reason to revamp it is to get some members who won't post and then leave the guild. Monty was an amazing man, but he isn't the only person who has done the work on Rwby. We can thank the writers Miles and Kerry as well as the many other animators. Not to mention their have been times were I have seen them hiring new employees as well as interns which only means new additions to animation teams and such things. I believe that Rwby will not change just because the loss of its creator. I think that them continuing it is the best way to honor his creation in the way he had ideas for it because it wasn't just his, it was the team's and the community's creation. I mean community because some of their behind the scene videos talked about how some characters had design contests where fans could design outfits and they got ideas from fans. I think that RWBY will always be the same, because Monty started it but branched it out to inspire many.
But I am nothing more then a lonely member of this guild, I think that I would be the one to put up the vote. I would also like to think that it would be amazing if they put a tribute in RWBY for monty.
