Monty Hospitalized!

This went out about six hours ago at the time of this post. Reports from Rooster Teeth are he's "been hospitalized" and they "don't know if he'll recover." They go on to say they want to respect his and his family's privacy by not releasing many details.

I agree that I thought that this was fake where this was some jerk who had just wanted to trick people into giving him cash but actually having heard all of roosterteeth giving their support, its surprising that he just got ill for no reason... maybe it was coffee poisoning? (I only make this small joke because he had several recent tweets about wanting to drink a lot of coffee.)

RT just posted in their twitter page that Monty Oum passed away yesterday as a result of a severe allergic reaction. The internet will never be the same. T^T

That is just surprising, Monty seemed the least likely to pass away while most other rt personally did immersion and things like that which were more dangerous... yet its hard to believe. Rest in piece Monty.

side note. hospitalized and died of an allergic reaction? was it before or after hospitalization?

I believe that he had a severe allergic reaction which landed him in the hospital. And he probably died from complications. It wasn't fully explained but we can asume.
