Detroit 2035. It has been 7 years since World war 3. Flooded and with run down buildings it now holds one of the worlds most top secret creation. During the war there was an anomaly. A break in our world. In an underground parking garage right after a cherry nuke was dropped creating something science can only explain as incredulous happenings. They call it the Rift. After 4 years of study it was a Dr. Richard Saintclair who descovered that the Rift was a portal to another world of some sort. One much like ours. They found that when initially sending live tissue through the Rift the samples never made it. Tempretures were to high and the cells exploded with contact. And so the scientist locked himself away, infected with the idea of a door way and all the possibilities it held once opened. It was failure after failure and eventually the Doctor went mad, or most would think. In his cenile mind he developed a suit that created a force field around the body of the wearer. And so, the door way was opened.
