Heise walked near Xylia as they talked with Castor about their home, what to expect in life being a member of this pack, explaining who each person was and their role, and how they have grown from the little group supporting a pair of love birds to the great pack that they are now.
"There is hardly a moments rest from the sound of it all. But rest assured, we do enjoy our festivities as well. There are plenty of party animals within this family."
He chuckled at the thoughts from the last time he had attended. It was the return of the two princesses where he had meant to play match maker with Zuli. How could he have not realized it then that she had feelings for him? He was so blind to others affections towards him. His eyes wandered over to Xylia and softened. He didn't have to worry about that anymore. Not as long as they remained by one another's side. Lips curling into a small smile his attention was then demanded by a very neighing and stomp to the ground. Artax looked over as Hermes called to them. With a chuckle and burst of energy at seeing the stallion he excused himself. Looking all more a boy running to play he ran towards the fence line and in one graceful movement cleared the top and was running around with Hermes. The horse bayed and stomped at the ground as they went in circles chasing each other, all the while with Hiese laughing loudly and joyfully. After a couple minutes they stopped and he leaned against the stallions neck running his hands down the other side then along his shoulders. Soon another fuzzy head was rested on his shoulder. He looked over to the girls around the horses silver nose with a large, warm smile.
"Come on! No time like the present to say hello to our friends here."
Boys and their toys. Anything to do with nature and he lit up like the sun. His bird friend flew around and settled on Artax's rump. The stallion looked back at him with grass in his mouth. Chirping a hello the horse went back to grazing without complaint.

"Sure we maybe k-nine shifters but that doesn't mean we don't enjoy an animal companion. Plus, horses are good at carrying the heavy weight when we go hunting," shared Xylia as she walked over to the stables with Heise and Castor.
Xylia was very use to having pets around due to her previous home. And each pet had their own use of purpose of why they were brought among the amazons. She practically grew around nature all her life and loved it. Xylia then laughed as Heise ran over to some horses and started to play with them. He started to remind her of a child. Then Heise called the girls over to join him. "These two fellas are Artax and Hermes," she introduce Castor to the horses. "Artax is our heard personal leader," she said. Artaz was a silver stallion with an ebony mane while Hermes was a golden brown with a black mane and hooves. "Some pack mates choose to have pets and you're welcome to have one if you want," she told Castor.
Then a white horse with a redish brown face and multi-color mane came running out followed by two greyish-white horses. They were Flare, Eclipse, and Equinox. The three galloped proudly out into the meadow.((Sorry that I've been absent. School keeps me busy))

Castor followed along listening, she continued to scan her surroundings as they walked. "I, have't kept any pets." she said, watching the horses. She liked horses, but she'd traveled by foot mostly. It had been a year from the end of her old pack to her finding this one. Even with all the information that she had picked up from both her mother and in her travels, it had been difficult finding the place. As they walked and she looked around at the horizons, thinking about how expansive the territory was.
"I'll, think about it." she added, "There are, I can learn to ride some of the horses here, right?" she asked.

Rubbing the nose of the horse he heard the girls speak and had Hermes follow him over to them. Scratching his chin he had a wry smile as he looked at them.
"Want a lesson now? Hermes and I dont have the same connection as some do but we trust one another. I can ride with you. Show you how."
He stepped aside and let Hermes stand there looking at Castor.

"I, uh, well," Castor started. She was, quite petite, and at least for now, she wasn't too familiar with things yet. She hadn't even been here for, more than, well, who knew how long she'd been walking through their territory without knowing it.

Xylia turn her head to see Castor hesitating at Heise's offer. She smirks an places a a hand on the girl's shoulder. "It's alright if you aren't ready yet," she told Castor. "Maybe once your settle into the pack we can start on lessons," said Xylia. "But I assure you that Heise isn't a bad teacher," she then looks up at Heise. Xylia gives him a wink.

His smile was kind but when she hesitated he held up his hand in defeat. He would not push her into if she wasn't ready nor comfortable. Letting Xylia speak he nodded. When she winked him his heart skipped a beat. With a crooked grin he winked back still marveling at how it felt to be in love and open about it. Patting Heremes neck, Heise clicked his tongue and the horse began walking away to graze. Not too far off though as he was hoping to be ridden.
"Whenever you are ready, Castor. If you merely wish to stand among the herd they will welcome you. They are a very friendly herd as a whole. Why dont we show you where the grain and such is kept? That way if you want to come here on your own you know where the treats and everything else is."

"Uh, I mean, I guess? Later I suppose." She had to remind herself that this was home now. This was family now too. She'd ridden a horse before, for traveling, but it wasn't the easiest for her. Small size, and back then her magic was a little unstable. Now it was stable, but not very powerful.
She looked over at the various horses around, there were quite a lot, she wondered how many of them had particular partners. Not that it mattered a whole lot to her. They weren't hers.

Both Din and Scorpio returned from their excursion around the territory. It was quite a positive excursion for Scorpio and herself. Scorpio understood his new responsibilities for his up coming new rank. Of coarse he will have to train with her a little less than a season. He has grown up quite a lot since the beginning of this year.
"Alright, Scorpio. Has your brother assigned or given you a horse yet?" she asked. "If not. . .let us take a look around for the right one for you." she smiled finding the list of the available horses. "Let's see." she said reading the temperments of each.

As lead the way into the stables she told Castor, "Sure we are wolves, foxes, and other sorts of k-nines and to some it may seem weird to have pets. But our pets come in real handy when we are too weak to shift into our other forms or weak from injuries. They'll carry us to our destination, send messages for us, and extra... But remember we are also part something else. Elves and whatever else runs through our blood which allows us to desire for companionship," she explain to Castor. "And if a horse isn't your best suiting but you desire a different type of pet then we can help you with that. Like for me, I have my white lioness here Sarafina," she then pats Sara's head while walking. Her lioness just swayed her tail in the air happily as she trots. Then to right of the stables entrance were sacks of oats, jars of nuts kept in cubborts, and stacks of hay. "That is where we keep our horses delicious treats," she smiles. The stables also reveal the many other horses that were still kept in their stalls. Most of them were newly mothers with their foals or soon to be moms.
Xylia then spotted Din and Scorpio looking over a list of the horses they kept. "Hello Din... Scorpio," she greeted them. She then encourages Castor to follow her with the motion of her hands.

"Actually, I already know who I want." he stated boldly. " I have been working closely with Quickstep and Casanova. Casanova doesn't respond to many people and is quite difficult for most to handle." he shared and Din looked at him surprise. "So, because he responds to me well. I think Casa and myself make a good match." he smiled. Din looked at him impressed. "You got quite a horse yourself Din. Atlantis is quite the gentle boy with beautiful eyes. The rarest colored eyed horses amongst our herd too." he smiled.
