Personality
Ricardo, a hardened career soldier, often displayed a calm and collected demeanor, rarely showing any signs of fear in extreme circumstances. He buried his emotions deep inside himself, causing some to see him as cold and uncaring. Despite this perceived attitude, Ricardo occasionally showed a more human side, expressing great concern for allies' well being during dangerous operations, and even demonstrating compassion towards fallen enemies.
Though Ricardo is often flirtatious towards his female team members, and expressed interest in intimate relationships on occasion, he did not like getting involved with other people's lives and was a loner by nature. Ricardo did not possess any qualms for doing things that are normally considered unacceptable social behavior if it meant completing a mission.
Biography[/b
When he was young, Ricardo De Vel's father was the secretary of defense for their native country, and he pissed someone off. Whoever it was in response sent a group of men to burn down their family home. When they came out the men captured Ricardo, his father, mother, sister, and put them in separate van. It was the last time Ricardo would ever see his father again.
Ricardo became a slave in a working camp and enslaved to work or face death. The only hope in his life were the "Freedom Trucks" as the soldiers who guarded the camp called them. Everyday groups of prisoners gained freedom on a trail on a trail freedom trucks. Those who reached them prove themselves worthy of the soldier cause. Ricardo endured for a whole year too be selected to go on the trail.
Though he was only six years old, Ricardo knew the path to the freedom trucks would be draining, and so he had been secretly scavenging food. On the he was to take the trail. He ate all the food he gathered to carbo-load himself with energy to make the journey. He stayed the front of the group, and reached the freedom trucks, but when he tried to get on a soldier on the truck forced him to not get on saying "He was too young to get on". The soldier then kicked him, knocking him unconscious into a ditch.
When Ricardo awakened he realized not only were the trucks gone, but so were his captors. He then made his way through the jungle to the nearest village. There he met someone who knew his mothers and sister, and the three reunited, and soon after the gained British citizenship. Ricardo became realized as a genius at the age of 17 and gained a full ride scholarship to Harvard in Aerospace Engineering. In his time in Harvard he learned the freedom trucks would send those who had gotten on them died by firing squad, and that the soldier that kicked him off the truck actually saved his life.
Upon graduating, Ricardo trained and got accepted into the British SAS. He got selected with a group of 50 men, to begin intense physical and psychological training to become a division tasked to take out aliens and super humans . These trainings had real risks; only Ricardo and twelve others survived.
For 60 years they got sent all over the world on missions to root out and kill mad scientist, meta humans, homo magi, Atlantean, and any alien deemed dangerous by their leaders. Though their effort and the information they gathered they learned of a pay load in which a group of human terrorist were receiving payloads from an alien supplier in hopes of starting another World War. They got sent in to stop the deal from happening. When they did they walked into an ambush. Most of them died that day, but others got captured and made test subjects for the Kroloteans.
The Kroloteans genetic experiments gave Ricardo and his comrades powers ad sold them to Mongul I for gladiatorial combat. The group then got forced against various foes one after another til only 6 of the 12 remained. The remaining six devised a plan to escape, gathering information day by day. Sadly the only one to survive long enough was Ricardo who used the information to make his way back to Earth.
Back on Earth, Ricardo had realized he spent 40 years in space, and that the genetic experiments from the Kroloteans have gave him Psychokinesis. It was the reason that though so much time passed he still had the youth and vitality of a man in his 20s. Ricardo went in search of his mother and sister and found two graves killed by Superman. Ricardo has now created a secret organization set on the utter destruction of the JLA...

○ Rico Suave : The Rico Suave is a automatic rifle specially designed energy weapon developed by Ricardo De Vel. The Slick Rick is a heavy duty rifle, much more powerful than normal earth technology. That comes equipped with a stun setting, used to temporarily disable an opponent. It has a retractable stock and weighed about 4.5 kg. The ideal range for the weapon was roughly 100-300 meters. This weapon fires bolts that are so unstable that upon contact with an energy field or solid object, will explode violently. The Rico Suave can absorb and convert nearby or far away energy sources, such as heat, solar, electrical, magnetic, Geo-thermal or kinetic energy or energy from the planet itself into electricity, or even drain energy directly into the batteries for recharge.
○ Espada MK I : The Espada MK I is melee energy based weapon created Ricardo De Vel. t is a katana-like weapon that is usually in a closed hilt-only state. When in use, an incredibly sharp blade extends from the hilt. It can extend without loss of durability to be extended to roughly 30 feet. The Espada MK I can be used while in stealth mode, even when at maximum reach. ○ Proteger : A Proteger is a personal energy shield was a defensive technology that projected a field of energy that protected the user from energy attacks. That are small enough to be worn on a belt or arm, or were designed by Ricardo to be held much like a traditional physical shield.

The armor is made from lightwave-bending materials that can greatly reduce the thermal and visible signatures the wearer to be adaptive camouflage, and as a added option one can change thier frequency to become invisible as well.. ○ Psychokinetic : Ricardo De Vel can influence, manipulate, and move matter with his mind. Below is the abilities he achieved through training:
Age Shifting: by manipulating his cells through telekinesis, Ricardo De Vel can either accelerate or reverse his aging process. Aging himself too far in either direction may has bad effects on him.
Telekinetic Regeneration: Ricardo can repair himself using Telekinesis. Ricardo must give him complete focus when using this ability. If the weapon used stays on the wound, regeneration may be slowed or stopped. Ricardo is still vulnerable to suffocation or asphyxiation as he is dependent on oxygen.
Memory Reading: Ricardo can read the target's memory to learn their history, discover lost memories and help the person remember, learn a memory that the target is unaware of, but could be useful. Require physical contact with the target. Ricardo De Vel cannot read someone's mind, just their memory with this power.

Ricardo is able to sense the structure and materials of solid substances, including the presence of caves, material changes, structural, weaknesses using telekinesis, e.g. sensing a targets. He cannot sense target that have more psionic abilities than him.
Psionic Drain: Ricardo can leech off psionic energy from an object, creature, or existing energy. In order to increase the Ricardo's own psionic level and psychic powers. Ricardo cannot drain from psionic users with more psionic abilities than him, without their permission.
Telekinetic Maneuver: Ricardo can alter an object's directional course. Ricardo uses this power to create, shape and manipulate any sort of non-living objects, products/finished goods, physical objects that have been manufactured from either natural or artificial materials, including anything from nano-technology, to tools, weapons, vehicles and up to architecture. Ricardo is only capable of using this ability on objects that he can see.
