You are all their warriors

The demons and the devils crawled

For planets far away
The greater gods smiled down upon
The carnage at their feet
They care not for human kind
We're just empty meat

The men lie dead upon the field
Their bodies turned to coal
They laugh out from their heavens
"You can't kill our souls!"
Then one god came up from behind
In horror, faces turned
With a mass of angels by his side
All the witches burned

"Make no graven images
And thou shalt not kill"
But you wear a cross around your neck
And swim in the blood that's spilled
"The angels are our saviors"
I hear the people sing
But they flew into Gomorrah
And away with scarlet wings

To appease their king

You read about these fallen gods
Though you refuse to see
You're committing deicide
When you say mythology
The call went out so long ago
To them it was but a day
The slaughtering of innocents
Without a drop of shame
