Pearl's characters
Profiles:
Name: Aurelia Age: 19 Abilities: Trapeze artist, acrobatics, gymnastics, silks Born in circus: Yes but not the circus in which the story takes place Appearance: Aurelia is small in stature, about five feet tall, which makes her perfect for the trapeze. She is also thin, not weighing very much, but having nice curves that she is very good at hiding, though when she wants to show them they look very good on her frame. She has a very beautiful heart-shaped face with deep green eyes that are large and round and curly black hair, that lands at her mid back, though normally she has it up in a bun because she is always practicing. Her skin is tan and flawless, with a golden hue. Personality: Aurelia has always been stubborn and much to independent as her parents suggested. They thought her much to wild to handle, but just wild enough to love the danger that being a trapeze artist would bring, or anything where her feet weren't on the ground. She started training when she was about three, perhaps even before then. She is very flexible, though not enough to be a contortionist like her mother. She is funny and extremely sweet. Caring about others before herself, as her name suggests, she has a "golden" heart. Bio: She started training when she was three, perhaps before, and she hasn't stopped. She is very flexible, but never wanted to stretch enough to be a contortionist. She left her parent's circus because they were trying to force her to marry another trapeze artist that she hated. She left in the night without them knowing, only taking the clothes she needed and her practice gear. Sense then she has been trying to get with another circus as a main trapeze artist, tired of always being only the helping hand.
Name: Thor (Stage name, and nickname among friends, most call him this though his real name is Bruno) Age: 24 Born in Circus: Yes Abilities: Strong Man Appearance: As his name would suggest he is build like a wall, muscles everywhere, and large. He is about 6'6". He has golden brown hair, and beautiful hazel eyes. He has a handsome face, with a very strong jaw and often furrowed brow, usually from a lot of contemplation. When he smiles it lights up a room, and his teeth are straight and white. His hands are large and calloused from working out so much and doing so many strong man tricks. Personality: Bruno keeps to himself a lot, and doesn't date inside the circus. He is known as quite the ladies man though, as he always seems to be able to pick up female company from a lady in the audience for the night if he wants to. He is very careful with this though, not getting anyone pregnant, or getting any illnesses from anyone. He is very sweet though if anyone needs help he gladly gives it. He does tend to have a temper however, and doesn't like it when things go wrong during the show, or when he gets reprimanded for some reason. He is never violent, but it usually leads him right to their mobile gym to work out even more than normal. Bio: Bruno does not date inside the circus because the one female he has always cared for, sense the time he has been a child, has always alluded him. She was always the favorite for his cousin to marry. So he always stayed away from her out of respect for him, but he never missed when she preformed and he was always helping carry her things, saying it was just his job because he was so strong. He always helped carry many people's things, but her things were always in her dressing room first to be unloaded, just waiting for her. He cared for her but had long ago realized he couldn't have her, so he settled for simple one night stands that didn't mean anything to him with women from outside the circus.
Helle's characters
Name: Raven Age: 20 Born in Circus: Yes. Her mother also worked there. Abilities: Fire eater, fire breather, juggler, sword swallower, plate spinner, contortionist. Appearance: Raven has straight black hair, and has ever since she was a baby. She wears it long, but has to put it up for her routines. Her eyes are an interesting shade of blue, looking purple most of the time. She has long and thick eyelashes that annoy her. Her skin is pale and she is only about 5'2''. She is thin, but has larger curves for her size. Personality: Raven normally keeps to herself, not wanting to be around the other people in the circus. She can seem cold to others, but she really does have a good heart. She is her true self when she is around Julian, but that's because she trusts him. It takes a lot to gain her trust, and most of the people in the circus still don't have it. Bio: Raven's mother was in the circus for many years when she became pregnant. Her mother would never told anyone who her father was, and she couldn't tell Raven herself. She died giving birth to her daughter, leading another member of the circus to raise Raven. When she was little she decided she wanted to do as much in the circus as she could so she knew she would always have a home. She grew attached to Julian because they were both quieter, and they have been great friends since then.
Name: Julian Age: 22 Born in Circus: Yes. Abilities: Acrobatics, magician (They are one of a few that have a magician) and animal trainer. Appearance: Julian is about 6'0 tall and has paler skin. He isn't too muscular looking, but he is strong. His hair is curly and blonde, and it's kept shorter to prevent the curls from being too crazy. His eyes are hazel, just like his cousin's. He takes care of himself to make sure he looks nice, and he always dresses nicely. His jaw is square and he still has a baby face. Personality: Julian is shy when he first meets someone, but the more he gets to know them the more he opens up. He is able to go in front of the crowds and perform though, and he has no idea why. It's always given him some sort of calm. Julian can be flirtatious without meaning to, and it's caused him issues in the past. Bio: Julian grew up in the circus, and when he picked what he wanted to do a few people were shocked. However, they supported him and found him a magician to help him learn his trade. He also took up training animals, and was expected to do acrobatics like his father. Ever since he was small he's been close to Raven, and everyone thinks they are secretly dating. He doesn't want to be with her though since they are best off as friends. They both agree to this, and they sometimes think about telling people to stop. It keeps other guys away from her though so she doesn't mind.

Aurelia stood in line with some other girls. These were the ones who made it after the first round of trials. Glancing around she noticed most of them were bigger than her, taller and heavier. This was the fourth circus she had been to, and she had always been the best one there, but a cousin or family member had always beat her out for the position. She just hoped that she could get the position this time. She was good enough to be in a main show, and that's what she wanted. She had been offered to train more at many places, but she knew she didn't need it. She was very good at her skill, and she knew it. Half the trapeze artists out there couldn't even use silks. She could! That alone would add an attractions to most circuses.
Glancing around she wondered who they were waiting for. Aurelia was assuming they were bringing out a male who could also do the trapeze for them to practice with, though normally men looked her over because she wasn't as busty and seductive as some of the other women trying to work at a circus. It was hard to be small sometimes in the circus. It wasn't that her curves were really small for her frame, but they weren't exactly huge either. She needed this job, she couldn't go back to her family and face a life being married to him and having his babies. She just couldn't do it. There was no way she would go back. She would take a normal job before she went and tried to work back with her family.Bruno sighed and looked around for a few moments. Then he started to lift his weights once more. It amazed people how easily he could lift large weights, even strong men sometimes had troubles with some things, but he never seemed to have an issue when he was working out. He always did this, and was glad people gave him a wide birth in the gym area. Bruno didn't like to be bothered while he was working out, though he was on the end of his work out not. Once he finished he grabbed a towel and rubbed the chalk off his hands and stepped out of their little makeshift gym and then headed down, the night air rustling his short hair. It was a bit longer than normal, he needed to have it cut down. Perhaps Raven would do it for him, she did it sometimes for him. He liked the feeling of her hands playing in his hair.
With a grim expression he headed towards her room. He didn't know why he did this to himself. It was like he enjoyed the pain of being around her knowing he could never have her for himself. With a sigh he arrived at her room and hoped she was there. He stood outside the small tend and cleared his throat. "Raven.. it's Thor.." he said, using his popular nickname to announce himself. "I.. if you aren't busy I would appreciate if you might be able to give me a haircut." he called in, hoping she was there. He wasn't going to open the curtain and check. That just wouldn't be like himself. He was a ladies man, and had seen many in a state of undress, but he would never barge in on someone he worked with, especially not Raven. She was the favorite for his cousin after all. It wouldn't be proper.

Pearl51 Julian finished getting dressed in a pair of nice jeans and a button down black shirt, hoping he found the person he needed today. He had never had a partner for his routine, and he really needed one. Not only that, but he hoped to find an assistant for his magician routine. He was looking for a very certain kind of girl, and it was so hard to find the right one. Many of the girls he thought were going to be perfect were upset that they would be doing more than just acrobatics. Even if someone here only did one act they still helped others out in different ways. Apparently the girls he had talked to didn't realize that. It was very upsetting. Sighing, he went to go see the girls again.
As soon as he got to the front of the line he knew he was going to have another long day. The first few girls laughed when he asked them how they felt about magicians. He let them go and continued to ask questions, not even interested in seeing them work. After about an hour he got to a smaller girl, one that stood out from the rest of the females here. Maybe it was a sign. "Okay. Question time. How do you feel about magicians? Would you be willing to double as an assistant to a magician? Finally, have you had a partner for a routine before?" Julian tended to not like people that had partners before. It was difficult to get them out of their old habits with that person.Raven finished doing her hair, and now had a small braid running down the right side of her face. She liked to do something small with her hair when she wasn't doing her routine, but it was difficult. There was just so much of it. It went passed her hips now, and she wasn't sure if she should cut it yet or not. Shrugging, she turned and found the clothes she wanted to wear today. Slipping on a pair of black shorts and a purple corset, the girl was ready to go. She was about to go find Thor for help when she heard him outside. Perfect.
She went to the door and waved him inside. "Come on. I was going to find you, actually. I could really use your help. Someone moved my box of plates again, and I don't know where they are. Plus, I can't carry the box once I do find it." Raven sighed and then grabbed a chair, thinking for a moment. "Let's do this outside. It's a nice day out." After grabbing her scissors and the chair, she headed outside and positioned the chair the way she wanted it. "Okay. Sit down." Her eyes went to Thor, and once again she was overwhelmed by how tall he was. It made her feel even smaller than she was. It didn't bug her though. It actually made her feel safe. Between him and Julian there was no way she would be harassed. The cousins were both such sweet guys that looked out for everyone. How the circus had gotten so lucky was still a mystery to her.

Aurelia stood in the line and noticed women being told to leave before they even got to go up and practice with him. Grinning she looked around and shook her head. This guy knew what he wanted, and she could respect that. It meant he knew what he was doing. When he finally arrived at her she marveled at how tall he was. He would make a good partner, if she was chosen, hopefully she was.
When he started to ask questions she looked at him and tipped her head to the side with a grin. "I've never really been around them before but their acts are usually interesting." she said with a small grin, her dimples only slightly showing. "It wouldn't bother me to learn something else." she said with a shrug. "I'm not a contortionist.. so keep that in mind.. but I'm sure I could be a good assistant if you showed me what to do." she mused. When he asked about trapeze partners she laughed softly and shook her head. "No.. I haven't. That's why I'm here.. I have practiced some partner moves.. but only with my trainer at the circus I came from.. he was my uncle. He didn't believe in doing a lot of practice in partner work until you had one. Said you have to get used to your partner and no one else." she said quickly. Looking around she looked back up at him and raised her eyebrows, wondering if that was all he was going to ask her.Thor smiled when she came and opened the curtain. When she mentioned someone moving her plates again he thought for a moment and nodded. "I think I might know.." he said, his voice deep and thoughtful. When she grabbed a chair and scissors and went back outside he nodded and then looked up at the sky. "Nice day out indeed." he agreed, sitting down into the chair and slouching down slightly so she could reach his head better.
"After this I can go grab your plates." he said simply. "Probably they moved it with the extra crates.. don't know why they always seem to do that." he said quickly. He looked around and noticed people passing by, not really caring about him getting his hair cut. A lot of men liked it a bit longer but he couldn't stand it. It just irritated him. "Your hair is getting long.." he commented, not really knowing what else to say.

Julian listened to her answers, enjoying each one. "I don't need a contortionist. If I did, I'd already have someone to help me...Before I ask any more questions, let's see what you've got. I want to see what you can do alone." It was pointless to try a routine together before seeing how she worked. He turned and walked towards the area they would practice. They had to have a lot of room to practice so that meant they had the biggest tent on the grounds to practice in. "I get up there and show me some of what you can do." He sat down where the audience normally would and hoped this was the girl he had been looking for.
If his search was over they could start practicing today! That meant they'd have something for when they opened next week. That would be amazing! Finally having a partner would be great, too. The owner here wanted to have a female acrobat, and at first Julian was a bit upset about it. However, this was a very male dominated circus and it would be nice to have more females around. Mainly because of Raven. His friend always came to him to talk to, and as much as he loved that, he still thought a female's view would be better in some situations. Plus, there had to be some things she didn't want to talk to him about.Raven ran her hands through his hair for a moment, wondering why he always wanted it so short. Oh well, it was his hair. She started to cut his hair and remembered the first day he asked her to do so. At first she had been so excited. Even as a child she had always been fond of Thor, not that she'd tell him that. He always seemed like he didn't return the feelings so she kept them hidden. After she got over the excitement of being close to him she realized that he was putting his looks in her hands. What if she messed it up and he got upset with her? Then she realized how stupid that sounded. He had a tendency to make her emotions and thoughts go hay wire. That's why she couldn't practice around him. Being burned or cut because he distracted her would not be good.
When Thor spoke she was pulled out of her thoughts, her face blushing slightly. Thankfully, he couldn't see that. "Okay. Thank you. I think someone does it as a joke. I don't get it, but...what ever." His comment about her hair made her bite her lip and think about cutting it again. "Yeah...I've been thinking about cutting it. I don't know...I mean, it's really long. It doesn't bug me, but I still wonder if I should." Raven shut her mouth, rolling her eyes at herself. That hadn't sounded like she was a moron at all. Why couldn't she keep her cool?

Aurelia beamed at him, happy he was willing to give her a chance. This had been the first time someone wanted to see her again. When he went and sat down in the audience she glanced at the large safety net and then stretched out for a moment before climbing the ladder. "Normally I would make a show of this but.. you don't really need me to parade up a ladder." she called out to him, knowing it would bore him, besides, there wasn't any music. When she got to the top she noticed her silks were hanging already. She had made sure they put them up just in case this was happening.
First she went to the trapeze, showing him a variety of daring tricks she could do, then once that was finished she grabbed her silks and glanced back at him with a grin before skillfully wrapping up in it and driving out into the middle of the area. Once she was in the middle she climbed up another bit, and then started to do all kinds of tricks. Showing her power and flexibility in these skills, and also her ability to be completely in control and graceful. When she was finally finished, she unwrapped herself and slid down the silks, holding on with her ankles and hands before dropping onto the safety net on her bottom. She laughed happily once she did and then rolled herself to the edge and threw her legs over the side and sat there gracefully, her eyebrow raised, waiting to see what he would say.Bruno sat there and listened to her talk about them moving her things as a joke and then let out a soft sigh as she played with his hair. "Yes.. I know what you mean.. I thought about leaving mine about this length.. but I think it looks... shabby." he said. When she mentioned cutting her hair he thought about it.
"Well... your hair is very.. um.. beautiful. I think it looks very nice long.. but um.. probably it's heavy." he said, trying to word this carefully. "If you cut it.. I wouldn't cut it to short." he said with a shrug. "I think it looks nice when you have it a bit shorter than it is now." he yammered. Oh he was an idiot. Why couldn't he just shut up about it. "If you wanted to cut it anyway... not that my opinion matters for much." he said. He closed his eyes, God he was an idiot. He clenched his jaw so he wouldn't keep talking about her damned hair.

Julian watched the girl do her little audition and smiled. This was it. He got up and went to the line of girls waiting outside, telling them he was sorry, but he no longer needed a partner. He then went back inside and held his hand out to the girl, smiling gently. "I'm Julian. Welcome to the family." This would be a great match. Her personality even seemed great. She was all smiles and laughs. It made him very hopeful. Once they were introduced he decided it was time to show her to her new home.
"Why don't we go set up a place for you to stay, and then I can show you around more." Julian headed towards where most of the people stayed, finding himself in a much better mood. "I'm glad you came here today. The circus is opening in a week, and we had a few of our people leave recently. We're missing a few acts, and some of our people are stretching themselves too thing. Now we'll have our joint act, and you'll have your own, too.""Your hair looks fine a little longer. You worry too much." Raven kept cutting it and smiled when he said her hair was beautiful. "Well, I'm sure it could use a trim. So, I'll probably at least do that." It didn't take much longer to finish cutting his hair, and then Raven sighed happily. "There you go. Let me just go put these scissors back and move the chair. Then we can go look for the box." She placed the scissors where they went and was glad she was alone for a moment. Why wouldn't her smile leave her face?
Forcing it away, Raven grabbed a sweater and put it on over her corset. "Okay." She grabbed the chair and put it right inside before looking back at him. "Where did you say you think it might be?" Part of her hoped it wasn't where he thought. That way they could spend a little more time together with out her making up a reason for him to stay.

Aurelia watched him go back outside and was worried for a moment before he came back inside. When he held his hand out she grabbed it and hopped down easily off the net. "Nice to meet you. I'm Aurelia." she said with a happy smile. When he mentioned finding a place for her to stay she smiled and then as they walked she moved over and grabbed her oversized duffle back and hefted it up onto her shoulder. There was just things she needed, clothes and a hairbrush and things of that nature.
When he mentioned people being stretched to thin she nodded. "Yeah.. it was like that where I came from right before I left." she said with a shrug. "I grew up in a circus but.. I uh.. had a difference of opinion with my family so I left." she admitted, a sad look coming to her eyes for a moment. "But.. anyway.. I'm happy to be here now."Bruno shook off when she said he was done, standing and pulling off his shirt and shaking the hair out of it. He didn't like that itchy feeling that cut hair made. Then he pulled back on his shirt and waited for her to come back out. When she did he nodded and smiled at her for a moment and then started to walk towards where he thought it was. It might take a bit to find it depending on where they stored it.
"Over by where they keep the storage crates." he said with a shrug. "I'll make sure to put it right inside your tent next time we move and unload." he promised. "That way people won't touch it." He walked slower that normal, knowing it was hard sometimes for her to keep up with his long stride.

Julian noticed the look on her face when she talked about her family. Something bad had obviously happened to make her leave. Probably a fight the way she phrased it. "I'm sorry about that. I know how difficult it can be to have parents from the circus. They put a lot of expectations on you, thinking you'll do what they want you to...That's actually the only reason I do acrobatics at all. My father did it, so they expected their only son to. I picked up being a magician though when I was a teen. It's my real love."
There was something about seeing the surprise and happiness on the faces in the audience. He felt like his act made people be in a better mood, and that's what he wanted. There was too much sadness in this world, and if he could banish some of that sadness then he did something great that day.Raven was disappointed when she realized she had just missed him without his shirt, but pushed past that and followed him. "You don't need to put it in my tent. It's not a big deal." She was quiet again as they made it to the storage crate. She looked around them and found her box of plates, smiling lightly. "There it is."
When her eyes went back to Thor she dropped her smile and then pushed a few boxes out of the way. It would make it easier for him to get it. Why she had so many plates, she had no idea. She didn't use them all at once, she just liked how gorgeous some of them were. Her favorite had actually been a gift from Julian. It was a purple place with a raven in the center and black roses and thorns around the edges. There were some other designs on it, too, but the roses, ravens, and the color had been what was perfect.

Aurelia nodded in agreement when he mentioned parents expectations. "Well.. my parents didn't have those kinds of expectations but.. they.. ordered me to marry this other man in the circus.. and he is.. a pig." she said simply. "They didn't give me a choice so I left." she admitted with a shrug.
When he talked about magic though she nodded and then checked the time. "Well once I toss my stuff down do you want to start working on stuff.. a week right?" she asked. "We need to practice pretty hard to be ready." she said simply. "My silks I have a routine ready so if they want me to do that I can." she said.Thor shrugged and then started looking around for the crate. When she said she finally found it he easily pushed other boxes out of his way and lifted it easily in front of him. "Where would you like it?" he asked, his voice deep. "Hopefully no one will mess with it again." he said.
He looked at her and then thought about something else. "I was thinking about adding lifting people into my routine instead of just stuff." he said with a simple shrug.

Julian frowned and shook his head. "That's not right. I don't understand why anyone would try to make someone marry another person. Especially if the other is a horrible person." He shrugged and stopped in an area where she could stay. "This is one spot. I'm over there, my cousin is over there, and then Raven is there. She's great. I think you two could be really good friends."
He thought about working on a routine and nodded. "Okay. Let me go get changed though. I'll be right back." He ran to his tent and found a pair of shorts and a t-shirt to change into. With that done, he ran back to her. "Alright. So, did you want to stay here or...is there somewhere else you want to go?""Umm...I guess I should just have it in my room for now. I might get some smaller boxes to put each set in so I can carry them with out your help...I don't know." Raven sighed and then looked up at him when he mentioned lifting people. "Yeah? That could be cool. A lot of people seem to like stuff like that." Honestly, what ever he did would entertain people.
There was one time someone had called him a freak because of how big he was, and that did not sit well with Raven. She had yelled at them, calling them all sorts of names. She also threatened them a few times, and Julian had to pull her away from the guy. She never told him what it was about, not wanting to tell even him about her feelings for his cousin.

Aurelia nodded at the thought of having a friend. "It would be nice to have friends here." she said with a smile. She hadn't really had friends at the circus she had grown up in, people had stayed away from her because her parents were the owners. Shaking her head she looked at the tent he showed her and smiled at the soft faded color. She watched him leave and then opened the flap of her tent and walked inside with a happy smile.
She put her things down on the collapsable bed to the side of the tent. She smiled at the animal furs to keep warm for blankets on the bed. A circus was a circus living, no matter what circus you were in. This was home to her. She put her things down and then went back out and noticed him back. "Oh no.. here is fine. I don't have anywhere else to go." she said with a smile.Thor glanced over at her and shook his head. "No this one would be better because it keeps your plates more protected. I don't mind moving them around." he said simply, following her as they walked back towards her tent, rolling his shoulders as a piece of cut hair tickled his back.
Thor glanced down at her and then looked away. "Well.. anyway.. thanks for the haircut." he said as they got closer. "I uh.. I appreciate it.. I guess is what I mean to say." he said with a shrug. "Maybe next time I'll let it get a little longer.. if it would look better you think." he said.

"Okay. Let's go start practicing then. I guess I can show you some of what I do first so you can get a feel for my style. My father always told me that if you had a partner you needed to make sure you could predict their movements because you had watched them before." Julian shrugged and then looked at his watch before deciding they could practice a few hours before lunch. Then afterwards they could either do this more or she could practice by herself.
When they got back to the high wire he climber the ladder and showed off some of his moves. After a few minutes he called down to her, wanting to get working together. "Come on up. We can try some stuff now. He was excited to try some things he had been wanting to do for years now. "Okay." Raven got to her tent and opened the flap to it, letting him go in. She then made room for the box of plates and was happy to have everything back where it belonged. She kept her swords and sticks for the plates in her tent, but not the plates. It was the hardest thing to carry. Looking at him, she realized that she might have been doing that as a way to keep seeing him. Would he move it for her when they opened and she needed it out near the big tent?
Raven turned and went to her mannequins with a few new outfits she had made for the opening this year. She played with the material of one and then looked back at him when he spoke. "You'd look fine no matter what you did with your hair. I just think it would be...nice to see you with a little more hair. I can always cut it if you don't like it." She shrugged and then looked at the clock she had, knowing she needed to go practice. "One week...are you ready for the opening?"

Aurelia smiled and nodded, standing back so she could watch him. He was fluid and strong. He would make a good partner. His movements were good, and they weren't jerky or anything. When he called her up she smiled and climbed up and got onto a bar and looked at her. "Alright.. what do you want to try first?" she called to him, feeling weird being up here with a guy.
When he told her what he wanted to try she nodded, starting to do basic moves with him, starting slow and working faster, their transitions getting better. After a while she hung on her bar by her arms and glanced around and then back at him, pulling herself up. "Want a break? My uncle said it's good to get to know your partner as well as get to know their movements." she asked, wanting to drop down to the net.Thor glanced at her and then thought about it. "Yeah I can do that." he said. She would like his hair longer. That was something he should work on. Not that it mattered, he didn't need her to like him. She wasn't for him. She was for his cousin. He looked at her costume and then looked away from them and back to her. "Yeah I think so.. got anything new planned?" he asked, looking at her.
"They made me a new costume.. it's just pants instead of the weird onesy thing they had me in." he said with a nod. "I don't have a shirt though.. they said something about a strong man having to show his muscles." he said with a chuckle before thinking about it. Would she even like it? Seeing his muscles.

Julian was happy that they were becoming so good at their transitions. It made him know that he had picked the right girl. When she asked about a break he nodded and then dropped down to the net. He quickly rolled off and then sighed, heading over to a small fridge near by. It had water in it so they could keep hydrated. It was getting pretty warm out, and they hadn't turned any fans on yet to keep it cooler. That could wait a little bit longer.
"It looks like it will be easy to get a routine down by next week." Julian sat on the ground and took a sip of his water, looking at the net as he relaxed. "What made you interested in all of this?" He gestured to the net, the ladders, and the rest of their equipment. She wanted to get to know him, and he wanted to get to know her. It would be easier to build trust in their partnership."Anything new? Umm...Maybe. I keep having issues with what I'm planning, so I'm not sure." Raven listened to him talk about how they were letting him wear pants and sighed. "Good. That thing looked horribly uncomfortable. I figured they'd want you to wear a shirt that was too small so you could flex and rip the shirt." She smirked and then looked back to her outfits, even more excited for opening day. He couldn't wear a shirt, and that was good for her.
The one was a leotard that exposed her stomach and was black. It had purple sequins and feathers on it, the sides also having a thin chain that hung down and had jewels hanging off of it. The other was a red leotard with orange sequins and yellow gems. Nothing was hanging off of it since it was what she'd wear when she went out to do her fire routine. She had learned from her teacher that having anything hanging off of an outfit while playing with fire could lead to scars. That was not something she wanted.
