Aura. Adaptive shielding. Vik's Aura can adapt to different kinds of dust attacks increasing his resistance to whatever he is hit with but he must be hit with it before it will change so hitting him with multiple types is an effective counter.
Semblance. Cowards pride. Vik can sense danger which helps him predict enemy movements when in a fight or help him avoid them all together only works within 30 feet for 30 minuets twice a day has a five hour cool down and if forced past that can cause serious damage to his brain.

Vik was a slave in a nomadic village forced to work in some of the most dangerous places they could find and when he messed up he was punished severely the worst was when he brought back the wrong items his master had sent him for Vik almost lost an eye he thought he was going to die there until the White fang raided the town. Now he works for the White fang doing whatever he can for the people who saved his life and has earned a place as one of the top soldiers and is hired out to anyone wiling to pay.
