I am making this thread for:
-Those who are new to the guild and still finding their feet/wanting to get to know people before they dive into discussions.
-Those who are too busy to go through all those threads and spend time time thinking of replies but still want to chat/say hi/contribute something.
-Those who find all current topics boring xp
-Those who just want to casually chat about nothing in particular.
-Those who want to say something but it's not worth making a whole new topic about it.
And everybody else.
Rules:
Just follow the rules of a civilised society (Don't be an a*****e)
Other than that.... ANYTHING GOES!
Doesn't matter if you want to just say hi or chat about your toenails.
Doesn't matter if there are 12 conversations going on at the same time.
Doesn't matter if you want to post entirely in pictures or emotes.

I will start the ball rolling with a generic question about the weather...
Soo... what's the weather like where you are?
I am assuming most of you live in the northern hemisphere and are freezing your butts off in the middle of winter.
I am enjoying summer. Though I admit it was rather more humid that I like today... but it is still preferable to being cold. 3nodding
Did you know I have never seen snow IRL?
I was wondering if someone could describe it for me?
My sister once said that snow can sometimes feel squeaky like cornstarch. If that is the case I am glad I have never seen snow. I can't even stand walking on squeaky sand!!!!

Well the weather here is cold and there is snow all over the ground. I stay inside most of the time cause i hate the weather

I know many people love winter (my sister is probably breaking her neck snowboarding as we speak) but I can't stand the cold short days. I need to be outside doing stuff, not sitting on my hands and feet to keep them warm. Last winter I asked a friend to teach me to knit so I would have something to do. What do you do to pass the time in winter?

Lady Freya73 books about wicca and cats . i like heavy metal music Oh cool. Are you Wiccan? Which tradition? Or are you at the studying non-initiate stage or just researching out of interest/not sure if it is the right religion for you yet? I was interested in Wicca for a while... until I realised it was more fertility based religion and seems to be quite focused on ritual. Not what I was looking for. sweatdrop After that I just practised witchcraft in general with a focus on 'green witchcraft' I also looked into hedge witchcraft for a while. I still do little bits here and there but I think the best thing I learnt through my search was the benefits of meditation. 3nodding Do you have cats? I am usually more of a dog person. I had a cat for a while. He was the biggest, most muscled cat ever! We rescued him when our neighbours moved out abandoning him. I generally don't like really heavy heavy metal. Not the clashy really growly type anyway. I do LOVE symphonic metal though. It is one of my fav genres of music... possibly even my fav. I particularly love those bands with epic female vocals: Nightwish (with Tarja), Epica, Xandria (with Manuela), Arven. I am also absolutely in love with Within Temptation... even though Sharon's voice doesn't have the strength/tone of others. ... I just wrote an essay again didn't I? sweatdrop

Probably my absolute favs are Sleeping sun and White knight fantasy. Have you heard any of Xandria's stuff? You might like some other their stuff. I particularly recommend the album 'Neverworlds end'. Some of the older stuff is good but neverworlds end is amazing.
