So I always have resolutions. How about you guys? Sometimes mine fail but I'd say I usually do pretty good. It's nice to get yourself in a mindset to change the things you can. If you like to plan out your resolutions, what are they? Or maybe you can start now. :3

I'm excited to make a list, hehe. I'll have to post it up somewhere by my desk so I can make sure I don't slack off. Maybe we could track our progress here too.

Okay, here goes, Spenelli's 2015 Resolutions:

- Don't Forget Vitamins!

- Level up in the Progressive Health Thread

- Get more activity and users in the guild.

- Change to part-time at work.

- Consume less sugar.

- Be more positive in all situations.

I really hope 2015 can be a healthier and more productive year!

I generally don't make new years resolutions. I don't think my resolve is any greater at the beginning of a new year than it is at any other time.

Usually I just start a new goal whenever I feel up to the next challenge in life.

I have been working on trying to get back into the habit of daily meditation lately. I really want to continue working on this as I think it is the most important and helpful thing I can do for myself.

I think what I like the most is being really bad at the end of the year. xD I actually ate shrimp and told myself it was a special occasion. I am such a brat. I only ate the shrimp cause I payed $60 for us to eat at the casino and it was steak and shrimp night. But the holidays make me want to spoil myself. So I tell myself once January starts I'll be healthier so it's okay. xD But I do fall out of habits and a new year seems like a good way to start.

It's really good though that you set goals all year. I'm just so lazy. I probably need to add exercise to that list. xD

I just don't find some arbitrary date much of a motivation. I find it better to make changes if and when something becomes important enough to me to warrant a change.
Though I guess with some people the importance of certain things tend to become apparent after the overindulgence of the holiday season xd

I don't think failure in goals is really a matter of laziness but more to do with the goal not mattering enough to the individual. Trying to force motivation where there is none merely because you 'should' isn't likely to work. There really needs to be more than 'should'.

I'm doing good with my vitamins and I have been watching my sugar. But the rest of mine aren't going very well. :/

I've been working extra hard on the sugar thing. I already didn't drink pop but I usually eat a lot of candy or sweet stuff. I realized when I eat a bunch of candy I feel like crap the next day. I found out you can get hangovers from sugar! It gives you headaches, mental fog, all kinds of stuff.
