This is the story of a baby fox that is found by a fox demon, while she is in her fox form. The fox demon takes her home and stays in her fox form to take care of the cub while it's still a baby, and her brother watches over the house. What will happen when the young fox is able to eat more solid foods, and the fox that's been her foster mother since she was a baby reveals her human form to the young fox???  Kaori, a two week old fox kit, was in a bush. Her mother had been killed by hunters. Kaori was whimpering hungrily and grunting for food and her mommy. Being two weeks old, she was still somewhat blind and on mother's milk. She started yipping loudly, almost crying for her mommy wanting to eat after a few minutes. She was so tiny and cute that it was obvious she was the runt.

Naomi and her twin brother Jack were in their fox forms playing in the woods behind their house. They were playing usual game of tag/hide and seek after lunch and Jack was ahead of his sister. He was running past a bush, when he heard the sound of a small fox kit crying for it's mom. Stopping and peeking his head in the bush, he a saw a small bundle of fur and immediatly went to go find Naomi, who had basically caught up with him. "What's wrong?" Naomi said seeing a look on her brother's face. "Just follow me." Jack said before slipping into a nearby bush and slinking over to the young kit. Naomi followed and wondered what was going on when, she heard the distinct cry of a hungry baby fox kit in the bush just ahead of her brother. She slipped into the bush and wrapped herself around the young kit, gently licking it's head and settling down so the young kit could nurse off of her.
She had never been a mother herself, but all the females in her family were able to supply milk while in their fox form whenever they helped to raise young animals who still needed mother's milk to survive. "I'll meet you back at home," Naomi whispered to Jack, who nodded and made his way back to their house to prepare Naomi's room for the newest arrival.

As soon as Kaori felt Naomi's tongue on her fur, and felt Naomi lay down around her, Kaori began to nurse. Her little grunts were so sweet and cute that it was impossible to leave her here. Kaori was covered in her mother's blood showing that she had just been hidden prior to her mother being killed and showing that her mother had been bleeding from her mouth.
Once she finished, Kaori snuggled up to Naomi laying her little head on Naomi's chest listening to her heartbeat to calm down. Then Kaori fell asleep peacefully beside of Naomi. She looked like a baby fennec fox but had the coloring of a normal fox. But she was, indeed, a fennec fox.

Naomi let Kaori nurse and continued to gently lick as she fell asleep. She noticed the Kaori had blood on her, but since she didn't have any wounds, she realized that Kaori's mom must've have been killed and had hid Kaori to keep her safe. 'Once i get home, I'll have jack gently clean her up.' she thought to herself, before gently picking up Kaori by her neck and making her way back home.
Once she got home, she found Jack and led him into the bathroom. Following Naomi, Jack, got a washcloth and ran it under some warm water. Carefully taking Kaori from Naomi, Jack placed Kaori in the sink and gently began to bath her and clean the blood off of her. Naomi jumped onto the cabinet next to the sink so Kaori would see her if/when she woke up and not be too scared.
((Sorry I took so long to reply, I didn't feel like getting on the laptop much if at all yesterday. :/ And Merry Christmas and hope your enjoying your time at ur aunt's house)) cat_smile

Kaori started whimpering in her sleep as she felt Jack's hands washing her as gently as he could. She wasn't used to being handled by human hands. She calmed down when she smelled Naomi beside of the sink. Once she was cleaned up, she started shivering inside of the towel as she laid on Naomi's bed with her mommy. She snuggled close while inside of the small towel wanting to warm up.

"There, there your new mommy's right here, watching you." Jack said softly as he gently dried Kaori off on Naomi's bed. Naomi had gone to get a drink of water from a special water bowl/fountain in the corner of her room. Jack turned on the mini heater that Naomi kept in her room on the end table by her bed and set it to where it would heat up the whole room, but turn off once the room became warm enough. "Thanks Jack." Naomi whispered as she slipped passed him and onto the bed. "No problem, sis. If you need me just use this." he said placing a little walkie talkie/baby monitor onto the bed. Naomi nodded and curled up around Kaori as she lay on the towel in the middle of the bed. Jack made a makeshift den around Naomi and Kaori so the little kit would feel a bit more comfortable, and placed a little barrier right before the edge of the bed, just in case Kaori would start to crawl around so she wouldn't fall of the edge of the bed. Then he made sure that the house was secure, and did some chores around the house. "Don't worry you're safe now." Naomi said softly to Kaori, before gently nuzzling her.

Kaori snuggled up to Naomi grunting as she started to nurse from her new mommy. ~Timskip~ About a month and a half later, Kaori was learning to walk and was getting used to hearing and seeing Jack around the house. Right now she was in his lap snuggling with her uncle. She licked his chin and nuzzled him. Kaori had become very playful over the time she'd been with Jack and Naomi. She was always following them around and it was really cute when she would try to play with Naomi's tail. Kaori was a handful but she knew that her mommy loved her very much. She'd even met a few of their human friends but wasn't too sure about them but if Naomi was okay with them, so was Kaori.

Jack was in the living room on the floor playing and snuggling with Kaori. He was glad that she had gotten used to him, but he was still concerned as to how she would react to Naomi. Jack and Naomi had discussed when to reveal her human form to Kaori, and they felt it was best to do it while she was young. Naomi was in her room, thinking about that very discussion. She was still in her fox form. She knew that she may scare Kaori, and she didn't want that, but she had to reveal her human form to her at some point. "And that time is now." she said as she slowly went back to her human form. She got some clothes, put on a robe, and went into the bathroom by her room to take a nice bath.

Kaori was playing with Jack by walking up to him and trying to catch his hand so she could nibble on his fingers. She loved her uncle Jack very much and he was her best friend besides Naomi. Kaori's tail was wagging as she walked over to him in a wobbly way since she was still learning to walk before she started to try to run before she tripped on her own paws and took a face plant but was okay. She wagged her tail panting softly as she went over to his chest and snuggled up to Jack before she laid on her back and pawed at her uncle's face cutely and biting his fingers playfully. She was getting her teeth in now so they would have to get her some teething toys and some soft solid foods. It seemed like only yesterday she was crawling around blindly and nursing from Naomi. She still was but was starting to try soft, solid foods.

Jack smiled and continued to play with Kaori. "You're such a cute little rascal." he said as he got a little stuffed toy from a little basket next to him and waggled it in Kaori's face. He really wanted to transform into his fox form and play with her, but he didn't know how she would react to that, so he decided not to. Naomi was soaking in the tub and enjoying the warm water on her skin. She washed herself up good and washed her hair. When she got out of the tub, she dried herself off and wrapped the towel around herself. Then she slipped the robe on and brushed and blow dried her hair in the bathroom.

Kaori yipped before she perked her ears hearing the blow dryer for the first time. She went to see what the sound was when Jack was not looking. She usually didn't wander off but when she saw Naomi, she started whimpering and yipping her squeaky bark and growling at Naomi. She wasn't sure who this new person was. She then wobbled off to Jack whimpering and crying some.

Naomi was finishing drying her hair, when she heard a cute little squeaky bark and growling. Looking down she noticed Kaori growling at her. Sighing, she walked back into her room to finished getting dressed. Jack noticed that Kaori was gone, but it wasn't long before she came back whimpering. "Aww what wrong, sweetie?" he asked picking her up and petting her. Then he looked up as he saw Naomi slip into her room to finished getting dressed. 'This may be a bit harder than we thought.' he thought to himself. After getting dressed, Naomi slowly walked into the living room and sat on the floor a few feet away from Jack and Kaori. "Kaori, it's me your mommy." she said softly as she slowly reached her hand out for Kaori to sniff.

Kaori looked at Naomi. She wasn't used to seeing Naomi in her human form but recognized her mommy's voice. She perked her ears looking at Naomi's hand before she sniffed at it looking at Naomi cautiously. But then, Naomi would feel a small tongue licking her finger. Being a fennec fox, Kaori would always be small and dainty. Her tail started wagging as she tried to get to Naomi wanting her mommy to hold and cuddle her.

Naomi and Jack both let out a breath neither knew they were holding when they saw Kaori lick Naomi's hand. Naomi smiled and moved closer to Jack and Kaori, so Kaori could easily get to her. Picking up Kaori, Naomi kissed the top of her little head.
