Zoids. Mechanical animal-like creatures that many warriors take into battle on the distant planet called, Planet Zi. In years past, wars were fought with these mechanical partners between the Helic Republic and Guylos Empire. But since those times, the two opposing nations have slowly faded away into one united nation. Now, warriors use these machines in battles of strength. Many teams have formed over the years to compete in competitions and tournaments. The most famous team though was the Blitz Team. Led by Dr. Toros, the team went and fought the hardest enemy to date to claim the Royal Cup's prize and moved up to Class S. Blitz Team has been famous since and still is around today, under new management of course.

But that is not where our story begins. Our story begins 26 years in the future with a team that was formed a few years prior. The Fire Blades is a team that many call a match made in the heavens. The team consists of two members that pilot a Blade Liger and an ancient, and thought to be extinct, Zoid called the Blade Wolf. The two are a fierce team and have great potential and are favored to win the upcoming Royal Cup.

Personality: Katherine acts just like her father but with the tenacity of her mother. Katherine is easy going and is always worried about not getting paid, but she isn't afraid to take someone head on even if it means that she would loose.

Bio: Katherine Hunter is the daughter of Brad Hunter and Naomi Fluegel. Katherine is also a twin. Her twin brother inherited their father's Shadow Fox when he retired as a Zoid Warrior. However, even though Naomi offered Katherine her Zoid, Katherine went a different route and started piloting other Zoids. None of them were the right ones. One day, she was visiting her father's old team, the Blitz Team, when the Zoid appeared at the base. It was a Blade Liger. It was slightly tempermental and wouldn't let anyone in the cockpit....except her. Katherine was able to pilot the Blade Liger and began a lasting partnership. Taking the Zoid home, Brad wasn't at all surprised that this Blade Liger chose her to pilot it. He had seen it before with his friend Bit Cloud and Liger Zero. It was then that Katherine said she wanted to travel. She traveled all over and eventually coming into contact with a Sword Wolf pilot and forming the Fire Blades. Over the course, she had her Blade Liger painted to match her personality, Black and Pink.

Extra Info: Katherine likes to be called either Kat or Kitty. Shortly after meeting her Blade Liger, she gave it the nickname Bladey. Also, Katherine's Blade Liger is one of the mysterious Ultimate X's. This is the second Blade Liger known to be an Ultimate X. Katherine has also fought with the Blitz Team on occasion. She considers the Blitz Team part of her family since her father piloted most of his career with them.

Personality: Articulate, Motivated, Courageous, Charles is a bit uptight due to his time spent in the Pan galactic Military.
Bio: Born and raised in a military space station, and with both of his parents serving in the Pan Galactic Military. Charles's childhood was spent on ships and stations as they transferred from posting to posting, never staying in one location for more than a few years. Following in his parents' footsteps, Charles enlisted at the age of eighteen, earning his way in to the prestigious Zoids division and being assigned to a posting in the orbit of Planet Zi. Fighting several battles against the remnants of the Backdraft group, Charles resigned his commission among hints of scandal with his commanding officers. Finding himself roving the cities and lands of Planet Zi. Charles eventually found a way to both make money and to continue to mission in his own personal way. Charles came in to possession of a rare Zoid and began to participate in sanctioned competitions, eventually finding himself teaming up with a bubbly pilot who fought with a uniquely colored Liger model Zoid.

Teams:
The Fire Blades:
This team formed about 2 years prior to the present day. During those two years, Katherine and Charles have worked up through the ranks and are currently in Class A. They have about a year and a half until the next Royal Cup and they are one of the few teams favored to win. Katherine misses having her twin brother around as they were already an unbeatable team, but she has found that Charles and his Sword Wolf complement her and her Blade Liger and vice versa. Charles and Katherine seem like an unlikely pair since he is so stoic and she is not, but they work well on the battle field. The Zoids and their Pilots are as follows:
- Blade Liger: Katherine - Katherine likes to be called either Kat or Kitty. Shortly after meeting her Blade Liger, she gave it the nickname Bladey. The Blitz Team:
The Blitz Team was Katherine's Father's old team. Brad used to pilot for the Blitz team before joining Naomi during the Royal Cup 4 years after they won. Leon, Brad, and Naomi went on to win the title. It was there that Leon left to go back to the Blitz Team. Leon is now the manager of the Blitz team and along with his own wife, Jamie Hemeros and his wife, lead this new younger generation of members. Leon still has his Blade Liger and the two still fight some times when they need a fifth Zoid. However, there are only 4 active members, Cameron Hemeros, Jaxson Cloud, Claudia Toros, and Alex Mathison. Bit and Leena's son pilots for the team and they stop by often to visit Leon and their son. They have also started and are managing their own team in which their daughter is a part of. The Team is still considered Class S since an original member is still part of the team. The Zoids and their pilots are as follows:
- Raynos: Cameron - Jamie passed on his Zoid to his son. Cameron has also inherited the Wild Eagle spirit, making him the third Wild Eagle.
- Zaber Fang: Jaxson - Jaxson strives to be as good of a pilot as his father. He fell in love with the Zaber Fang watching archived footage of the Blitz Team's fights with the Tigers Team. He joined the Blitz team so he could have chances to take on his little sister.
- Command Wolf: Claudia - Claudia's starter Zoid was a Command Wolf and she has been using it since. Her Command Wolf has custom parts and sports a double barrel cannon. She has also painted it her favorite color, purple, much to her father's dismay.
- Gun Sniper: Alex - Alex was given a Gun Sniper by his father before he had passed away. Alex was a mercenary for a while before settling down with the Blitz Team. Alex has done little to his Zoid since his father gave it to him. He did add some modified hand turrets.

The Ligers:
A team managed by Bit and Leena. The Ligers only consist of Liger type Zoids, hence the name. There are only 4 people total on the team, including Bit. Leena pilots every once in a while making her a fifth member, but she usually leaves it to Bit and the others. Bit and Leena's daughter pilots in this team along with two other members that Bit has brought in. The members are, Bit and Leena Cloud, Tina Cloud, Gregory Harris, and Matthew Peters. They are currently Class A and are striving to make it to Class S in the next Royal Cup. The Zoids and their pilots are as follows:
- Liger Zero: Bit - These two are still a team to reckon with. They often take it easy since they are S Class pilots and usually stay in the Zero armor. When Bit and Leena got married and said they were going to start their own team, Dr. Toros gave them the Hover Cargo as a wedding gift, buying the Blitz Team a new transporter. Liger Zero is still an Ultimate X.
- Gun Sniper LS: Leena - Leena still has her Gun Sniper. She still is trigger happy and has added a few guns since then. Her kids call her "Crazy Trigger Happy Mom" most of the time. She is the only non-Liger Zoid allowed on the team.
- Shield Liger: Tina - Tina wanted a Blade Liger like her Uncle Leon, but Bit and Leena were having a tough time finding one as Blade Ligers are already rare. They did find a Shield Liger, and after Leena explained that Uncle Leon had one to begin with, Tina accepted the fact and started piloting it.
- Lidier: Gregory - Greg came to the Liger Team in a rare Lidier. Not much of them are around any more, but they are more common than Blade Ligers. Bit found Greg through a Junk Dealer friend.
- Saberlion: Matthew - Matt came across the team on their way to a match. He was a wandering warrior looking for a team. He was piloting a beat up Saberlion and Bit helped him out by having it fixed. To repay him, Matt joined the team.

The Fluegel Team:
The team has become a family team now. There used to be 4 members, but since Katherine left to find her own partner, 3 remain. Brad has since passed his Zoid onto his eldest son and retired, but still pilots a Command Wolf every once in a while. Naomi still fights on the field with her two boys. Brad has become sort of a manager in some ways, but he mainly cares about the prize money (still!). Naomi and her boys are a team to reckon with. Since becoming an Class S team with Brad and Leon, Naomi was allowed to keep her current team in Class S since there are still members of the original team still current. The team members are, including Brad, Brad Hunter, Naomi Hunter, Steve Hunter, and Simon Hunter. Since they are already in Class S, the Hunter family cheers on Katherine as she and her partner work towards becoming Class S.
- Command Wolf: Brad - Brad has since retired from active Zoid Battles. He will only occasionally fight if the opposing team has requested 4 versus 4 battles. Otherwise he just sits back and watches the battles.
- Gun Sniper NS: Naomi - Naomi still pilots her red Gun Sniper and it is still just as simple. However, since the team has added more members since the days of their Royal Cup victory, as a late wedding present, Brad bought Naomi a Whale King since they also needed the rooms for their kids.
- Shadow Fox: Steve - Named after Steve Toros, Steve is Katherine's twin brother. Steve is the eldest child, older than Katherine by 10 minutes. He and his little brother, Simon, get along well. He acts mostly like their father. He deeply misses his twin though and cheers for her the loudest.
- Raynos: Simon - Simon has a love of flying and spent many hours with Jamie who taught him how to fly a flying Zoid. Simon picked up the flying type well and begged his parents for a Raynos, just like what his idol used to fly.

The Champ Team:
Harry Champ has since retired from piloting and was one of Bit's groomsmen having given up on Leena. However there are new Champs in town. Harry found a lovely woman and married her and had identical twin boys. They have grown up and started up the Champ Team again, using their father's old hangar. They have many Zoids in their arsenal like their father once had. They use one of Harry's Whale Kings as their transporter. The two boys are all that is on the team. They are Fredrick and Harrison Champ. Harrison is the oldest and was named after his father. Fredrick was named after his Grandfather. Both boys are often visited by their father (their mother died when they were 16. Cause unknown) whenever he gets lonely back at the house. Sebastian and Benjamin are still around to keep Harry company. Their aunt, Mary, visits them often.The Zoids and their pilots are as follows:
- König Wolf: Fredrick and Harrison - Freddy and Harry favor the König Wolf over any other Zoid. Freddy pilots a Red König Wolf while Harry pilots a Blue König Wolf. There is nothing special about the two König Wolves and are just repainted versions of the standard König Wolf. Thankfully the two boys have not carried over their father's impulse to say they are destined to be king. Fredrick has a crush on Tina, while Harrison has a crush on Katherine. Both take after their father in trying too hard to get the girl to fall for him.

The Flash Duo:
This team is made up of two females. They strongly wish that you didn't mix them up with the Lightning team. Why? Because this duo pilots two Lightning Saix. These two are cousins and were mercenaries before joining the other to create their team. Their names are Akiko Yagami and Yuki Tsukino. Together these two are in Class B and close to moving up to Class A.
- Lightning Saix AS: Akiko - Even though the cousins both pilot Lightning Saix, their Lightning Saix are different than normal and from each other's. Akiko has an attached double barrel gun mounted. The barrel looks like a double barrel shot gun. This way it reduces drag and can handle the top speed of the Lightning Saix.
- Lightning Saix YS: Yuki - Yuki's Lightning Saix consists of a Gatling gun instead of a single barrel. The rotating barrel is slim to stay streamline but it doesn't pull away from fire power or the stability of the gun itself.

The Fangs:
This team is a top team and is favored to win the Royal Cup as well. This team is made up of a set of triplets, identical twin girls and a fraternal triplet boy. These three are very close and their formations are practically flawless. The infamous loosing team, The Fuzzy Pandas Zaber Fangs's Leader, Kirkland, is their cousin. They wish to not be associated with them at all because of their continued loosing streak. The triplets, on occasion when they have to fight them (which the Zaber Fangs remarkably got to Class A at one point before plummeting back to Class F), have often told Kirkland to give up and retire already. The Fangs consist of Anna, Harriet and Edward Rossland. Edward is the oldest, Anna the middle and Harriet the youngest. The only way to tell Anna and Harriet apart is that Anna has significantly longer hair than Harriet. As mentioned before, the triplets are favored to win along with the Fire Blades. The three are so close that some people think they are incestuous, but in reality they aren't. They are just very close and haven't really gone one day without the other two. The Zoids and their pilots are as follows:
- Helcat: Anna and Harriet - Even though they sport a smaller Zoid than their brother, the two know how to pilot their Helcats with the greatest precision. Although they pilot basic Helcats, they do support their brother and complement his Zaber Fang.
- Zaber Fang: Edward - Edward pilots the bigger Zoid of their team. Edward and his sisters generally are on the same page without having to discuss much. They all claim it is because they are triplets.

Teams Continued:
The Saiga Team:
This team is fairly new to the circuit and have been on an amazing winning streak. Partially because of their even balance of flying and ground type Zoids. But that isn't all, this team is made up of 5 friends that have been together since childhood. All 5 of them pilot Zoids but only 4 do the battling. The team is made up of Karl Miles, Jasmine Davis, Andrew Webb, Sarah Fox, and Joey Michaels. Sarah is the manager of the team partly because her father sponsors the team and provides them money when in a pinch. This group has worked their way up to Class A. The Zoids and their pilots are as follows
- Pteras Bomber: Karl - Karl is the second oldest member of the group. He has always had a love of flying and was taught how to pilot a flying Zoid since he was only a child by his father. Funny enough, his Pteras was previously owned by Jamie Hemeros of the Blitz team.
- Storm Sworder:Jasmine - Jasmine is a little speed demon in the air and on land. Like the others on her team, she can pilot both land and air Zoids and they often switch it up causing confusion of teams they previously fought. Jasmine is the middle child of the group. She has two that are older than her and two that are younger than her. Her main Zoid is the Storm Sworder that she bought when she left home to pursue being a warrior.
- Command Wolf AC: Andrew - Andrew is the second youngest of the group. Andrew had always been reserved as a kid and it somewhat carried into his teenage years, albeit, not as much. Andrew pilots an AC version of the Command Wolf while his best friend, Joey, pilots the LC version. Andrew and Joey have a sort of bond when fighting that they just play off each other's attacks without saying anything.
- Command Wolf LC: Joey - Joey is the youngest at only 18. Even though he and Andrew are the same age, most of the year, Andrew turns a year older a month and a half before he does. At the same token, Andrew and Joey have known each other the longest and work well together without saying much.
- Gojulas: Sarah - Sarah is, if you haven't figured it out already, the oldest of the bunch. She is only 3 years older than Andrew and Joey. Sarah grew up in a rich household, much like the Champ twins. In fact, she is a distant cousin to the Champs, but neither know it...yet. Her father owns a big company that specializes in Zoid Purchases and Repairs. Sarah met Jasmine before meeting the rest. Jasmine's grandmother is a benificiary of her Father's company.

The Tramps:
This team is about as male as you can get. The Tramps got their name while they were in a bar. All three members were flirting with the same bar tender all while sitting next to each other. Before the shift changed in the bar, the Bar tender left the boys while calling them "tramps." And the name just stuck. This team includes Tyler Scott, Kuro Masami and Max Howard. The three have been friends since their early teens but officially became a team sometime since the last Royal Cup, 2 and a half years ago. They are nearing the highest class, Class S, which is possible without winning the Royal Cup, and are only 20 victories away. The Zoids and their pilots are as follows:
- Whitz Wolf TS: Tyler, Kuro, and Max - The three all pilot Whitz Wolves because they all felt fond of the Command Wolf, but thought too many people pilot that Zoid. So they went with something different and started piloting the Whitz Wolf. Tyler has some black decals on his, Kuro has red, and Max has blue. this helps them remember which one is theirs, even though they all have the same modifications and all handle the same way.

Team Vega:
Vega and his Berserk Fury are still around. Only being 7 during the events of that fateful Royal Cup all those years ago, he has grown as a Zoid Warrior. Unlike then, Vega has better control of the Berserk Fury without having to wear special armor. Since the Backdraft had disbanded, Vega never returned to Sarah, his "trainer", after Bit defeated him. Vega began to learn how to work with the Berserk Fury instead of just controling it. Vega has modified it since the last his last Royal Cup. It no longer sports the rotating blades, as he thought, even then, that they were overkill, and now sports a lazer cannon. He barely uses the Charged Particle Cannon and even that has been dialed down since then. Berserk Fury didn't seem to mind now that he has accepted Vega as a worthy pilot. Team Vega has only one member, Vega himself. The Zoid and it's pilot are as follows:
- Berserk Fury: Vega - Vega lost to Bit Cloud many years ago and has kept in semi-good contact since. Vega had left with the Berserk Fury and returned back to his home town where he trained to be a better pilot for the Ultimate X. He still went into one on one battles and won them all. He has since dialed down some of the increased modifications that his old "trainer", Sarah, onced had in place.

Gajinka Group:
These four friends are more than ordinary guys. These four men won the last Royal Cup. Currently in Class S, The Gajinka Group is more than just famous, they are living like rock stars. This team went into the Royal Cup as the least likely team to win and they won with all four Zoids still functioning. All the haters are saying they cheated their way to the top, but after one match, they shut up quickly. This famous group consists of Alex Duncan, Shigure Kagaya, Kyouya Matsuri, and Max Brownson. These four friends have been friends since birth practically with a month separating the oldest and the youngest. All four come from really wealthy homes but compared to where they come from, they hardly act like it. Another reason that they are famous, they all sing and play instraments. They are all 25. Fun fact, Katherine has the hugest crush on Kyouya. They all pilot Zoids in Battle and often have 4 v 4 battles. Their Zoids and their pilots are as follows:
- Command Wolf KS: Kyouya - This Command Wolf is unique in more ways than one. First off is the most noticeable. This Command Wolf sports a Gatling gun that mimics what Kyouya's Idol, Brad Hunter's, Shadow Fox uses. The second is that the Command Wolf also has a smoke release like Brad's old Command Wolf had. And the third is one that can't be seen without a scanner. Kyouya's Command Wolf is an Ultimate X.
- Gun Sniper: Alex - Alex bought the Gun Sniper exactly a month before going into the Royal Cup. Alex acts like the leader in most cases. Of course his right hand man being Kyouya. Alex loves fighting with his "brothers" by his side and loves hiding spots to snipe out the enemy.
- Zaber Fang: Max - Max is the youngest of the group and is often the first one out when the going gets tough. But don't count him out yet. Max pilots the Zaber Fang to its maximum potential. The other three says he is scary in the cockpit and tend to stay out of his way. Max is the only one to have a cousin that is in the running for Class S in the next Royal Cup, Tyler from the Tramps team.
- Debison: Shigure - Shigure likes the power types. He may not look like it, but he is just about as trigger happy as Leena. Another amazing thing is that he doesn't hold the others back. He isn't as agile as the rest of the team but he can hold down he fort no problem. He is the tatical engineer of the team and comes up with the teams tatics.

The Kittens:
This group of girls is bigger than most groups out there. There is a total of 7 registered people on the team, but only 6 are allowed to pilot Zoids legally in battles since the Zoid Battle Commission increased the minimum age to 13 since Vega competed when he was only 7. This group of girls are all related some how...not by blood though, except two. Their connections range from fathers being childhood friends to mothers working together to siblings that went to school with their siblings. The members are Suguha Kagamine, Sinon Fuwa, Silica Ayano, Lisbeth Shinozaki, Kirika Kazuto, Asuna Yuuki, Yui Yuuki. This team is relatively new to the circuit and have only been a team for about 6 months. But this group of girls are a force to be reckon with. Kirika is the strongest member of the team. She is also the manager, while Yui micro manages the team from the Whale King when Kirika is on the battle field.
- Spinosapper: Suguha - Suguha, notably going by Sugu, didn't always like piloting the Spinnosapper and wanted to pilot something on four legs, like the Shield Liger she had trained in with her brother. When the team was given a Spinosapper from Kirika's father, no one wanted to pilot it and Suguha stepped up. She complained about the controls and how it differed from the Shield Liger quite often, that was until she learned the little tricks to piloting it.
- Iron Kong: Lisbeth - Lisbeth grew up learning how to service Zoids. It sparked her passion to enter into schooling to become a Zoid Mechanic. She withdrew from the school to go into Zoid Battles with her friends. It wasn't until the team was really deperate for Zoid repairs (as they didn't have enough money at the time to take them in) that Lisbeth went back to school and finished her program. She graduated and began fixing up their Zoid while using spare parts before they could afford to have a mainstream supply of parts coming in.
- Redler: Silica - A long forgotten Zoid is piloted by Silica. The Redler was actually easier to come by than one would think. Lisbeth and Silica found the remains of a Dormant Redler whose core was still in tact. The only problem they had was trying to start it. Lisbeth, the resident Zoid Mechanic, worked day and night to get the Redler ready for Silica as her Pteras was about to fall apart....literally.
- Gun Sniper: Sinon - Sinon is the best sniper of the group, and her Gun Sniper proves it. Sinon is their best at the long range battles and tends to be their eyes when it comes to tracking. Working in unison with Silica, Sinon can pinpoint enemies that normally would be hidden.
- Red Horn: Asuna - Asuna has a fondness of the color Red and her Red horn shows it. Detailed with white stripes throughout, Asuna's Red Horn even has it's weapon painted and detailed the same way. You would think it would be easy to spot, but in reality, the red paint, unless on water, helps with camouflage.
- Helcat: Yui - Yui is the youngest of the group and has a small zoid to show for it. Her big sister, Asuna suggested that she start by piloting the Helcat as it was easier to adjust for a smaller pilot than most. Yui pilots her zoid mainly when traveling, doing chores, like getting groceries.
- Blade Liger: Kirika - Kirika is the lucky owner of a Blade Liger. She got her hands on one through her father. Her father is a member of the Zoid Battle Commission and her father had found one through surveying a battle ground place for the previous Royal Cup. Her Blade Liger is not an ultimate x.

Backdraft:
Although the original team has since been disbanded, there is still a small group of them that is starting to grow back in numbers. So far they have about 200 members that are in 10 teams currently. Their leader is unknown as the original leader, known as The Count, is no longer around. They currently only have two dark satellites remaining as they managed to escape the destruction of them during the Royal Cup 24 years ago. They have laid low since then, but they are starting to make a come back and are reeking havoc across the planet with their unsanctioned matches.

The Strike Rays:
This desert gang has been terrorizing the the areas around Romeo City. The number of how many members are in this group varries depending on who you talk to. But there is one person that is for sure, their leader, Maria White. Maria founded the group after her brother and a few friends were arrested for something that they "didn't" commit and Maria, only 3 years younger than her brother, gathered up some of their other friends and broke them out of Jail. On the run, Maria and her brother split the group into two and Maria handles the Romeo City faction. There isn't another girl in the gang and Maria uses it to her advantage multiple time.
- Sinker: The Zoid of choice for this gang. Every man here pilots a Sinker and they cause terror in Romeo City. Because they always loose the cops, no one really knows where their base is. The men however are more than happy to serve under Maria. They all try to vie for a nice night with Maria, Dinner and a night of fun. (not that kind of fun, going to a playground kind of fun.)
- War Shark: Maria wanted to stand out against her men and begged her brother to get her a different Zoid. It is needless to say that Maria has her brother wrapped around her finger. Her brother came back to her with a War Shark that had some modifications on it. Needless to say, Maria loves her Zoid and the men love serving under her.
