 Talon opened his eyes to see that he was standing in the lush forest of his home, and that Lilly had made it there... He was extremely pale and dizzy, and his vision blurred as the world seemed to spin around him. He fell to his knees, gasping for breath, then lowered himself to a sitting position on the ground and raised his hands to his head, feeling sick to his stomach.
"Nothing to worry about... I'll be fine..." gasped Talon "Just... need a few... minutes..." After a while, the color returned to his skin, and the sickness went away, leaving him feeling only tired. He looked up at Lilly, a weak grin on his face "Teleportation magic sucks - as humans would say." to teleport required tearing a hole in the fabric of reality itself, then jumping through to a specific point in another realm. To do this required great concentration and mental fortitude on the part of the caster... It was a very exhausting process for all but the most skilled magic-users.

 Lilly had been shaking when they arrived. She slowly opened her eyes to look up at Talon. She then looked at him greatly worried and concerned. She watched him slowly sit down. She didn't like to see him gasping and such like this. She saw the color slowly return to him. She saw how weak he was. She saw some berries nearby. She walked over and picked them. She then walked over to him and held them out to him. "Eat these it should help Talon." She poured some of her healing into the berries. He would regain his energy from eating them.

"Thank you, Lilly..." said Talon, smiling warmly at her as he took the berries. After eating them, he started to feel much better. He rose to his feet, gently taking Lilly's hand as he began to walk through the forest. "My home isn't far from here..." he said softly. He found himself wanting to know her better. "Anyway, do you care to tell me a litte about yourself, Lilly?"

"Your welcome Talon." She told him softly. She looked around a bit as he ate. She then saw him rise to his feet after he finished eating. She was glad to see he was doing better now. She felt him take her hand and didn't resist. She then walked with him as he lead her to his home. "I grew up in a very secluded forest. No one had known about it till the day I was captured. It was only till then that it had been discovered. I learned about plants and animals. I am able to talk to both even. Though plants aren't as easy to talk to honestly. I mostly can talk to trees to be honest. The other plants aren't as easy. I can also heal others but not myself. I can change to the size of a fairy. When I'm ill or weakened I become small even if I don't want to. I was very close to changing size before you took me to the courtyard to be honest Talon." She told him honestly.

Talon smiled dreamily as he listened to Lilly tell him about herself. "It must be amazing to be able to talk to plants and animals..." he said softly. "I can only imagine what kind of fascinating stories they have to tell - so I take it you're a vegetarian then?"
Talon was a skilled hunter and ate meat himself... However, if doing so offended Lilly, he would gladly give up eating meat for the rest of his life, just to make her happy - he didn't want to hurt any of her friends, after all.

"If only you could hear what the trees have to tell you especially the ones that have been around for a very long time. It's amazing really the things they can tell you. I might be able to make to you can hear them. We can try that some time if you like Talon. Yes I am a vegetarian. I can't bring myself to eat animals. It is hard to when you can talk to them and know what they are feeling to be honest. I am fine with others eating meat but I can't bring myself to do the same." She told him honestly. She looked at him. "Can you me about yourself Talon?" She asked him.

Talon smiled, gently taking Lilly's hand "I would love to be able to hear the trees, once you're feeling up to it!" he said happily. He then pulled her into his arms and hugged her "And I promise you I won't hunt or eat animals anymore now that you're here - I wouldn't want you to have to see any of your friends being harmed."
Talon then continued to walk with Lilly towards his house. "There really isn't much to say about myself." he said softly "I'm what you'd call an adventurer - I love to travel. I journey to different realms, doing odd jobs and helping people out wherever I can. This forest will always be my home, though."
At last, they arrived at a small cottage in the middle of the woods. Talon opened the door, leading her inside. "Welcome to your new home, Lilly." he said with a warm smile, as he showed her around.

Lilly smiled at him. "I can do it once you are recovered from getting us here Talon. I am feeling much better now than I was in the ballroom." She told him. She then felt him pull her into a hug. She closed her eyes as he did this. "Thank you Talon but you don't have to stop eating meat because of me." She told him softly. She listened to him talk about himself. "What kind of places have you been. The only places I have been to outside my home forest is the slave shop and now here to be honest." She told him. She saw the small cottage come into view. She walked inside as he lead her into it. She looked around. She then looked at Talon. "Thank you Talon for giving me place I can call home." She softly.

"I've been all over, to places you can't even imagine until you see them..." said Talon, smiling at Lilly. "I'd love to take you with me on my travels, if you don't mind."
When Lilly thanked him, Talon pulled her into his arms. "You're more than welcome, Lilly." he said softly, kissing her lightly on the lips. "I'm sure you must be hungry... How does some spicy vegetable curry sound?"

Lilly looked at him. "I would love to go on your travels with you. I am unsure if I am able to really seeing I can't be away from plants for too long of a time." She told him softly. She then felt him pull her into his arms once again and kiss her on the lips. She was in a bit of shock or surprise. She had never been kissed before. Talon had just taken her first kiss in all honesty. She touched her lips gently and looked at him. She came out of it when talked about food. "I would like that. I'm famished honestly."

"Well, I'll make sure that I'll only travel to realms with plenty of plants from now on." said Talon with a reassuring smile on his face. He then headed to the kitchen and started to work on dinner for both of them. The mouthwatering, spicy aroma of fresh food soon filled the house. He looked up from his cooking and smiled at her "I'm so happy that I met you, Lilly..." he said, grinning at her. For once in his life, he didn't feel lonely and depressed.

"You don't have to limit your travels. Someone has to take care of the house sometimes. I will be fine on my for some time. I will have the animals to keep me company." Lilly told him. She followed him into the kitchen as sat down. She watched him cook. She could smell it and smelled really good. She then smiled at him. "So am I Talon. I could have ended up with a horrible person but you found me instead."

At last, Talon had finished cooking. He dished up the food onto two plates and set it down on the table in front of them. "So how is it, my dear?" he asked. He always liked his food a little on the spicy side, but he hoped it wouldn't be too hot for her.

Lilly took a bit from the plate in front of her. She never had spicy food before. She found it was quite good. "I love it. I never tasted anything like it." She told him. She then kissed him on the cheek hesitantly. She wasn't used to this kind of thing. She then looked at him. She was blushing very deeply just from kissing him on the cheek.
