Autumn was dressed in a white, red and green kimono though why he really didn't know. He was a slave and had been for as long as he could remember, being bought and sold once it was discovered he wouldn't speak to anyone. It wasn't that he couldn't, he had just been terrified of talking anymore. The first man to ever own him had hurt him too much and since then he learned that any sound had caused him pain so he was safer not speaking at all.

So when he was selected to become a participant of this ball he wasn't sure of what was to happen. He couldn't speak with anyone so it seemed he was going to have someone with him at all times, probably best anyways as he was one that obeyed any order that was given to him.

As Autumn and his attendant were ready, he was led into an elegant room where he was shown around like a prized pet. He was afraid and was shaking the entire time, but no one seemed to notice that he was scared his hands partially hidden by his long sleeves. His golden hair had been partially tied up, the rest allowed to fall about his shoulders. As he walked his golden eyes scanned the crowed afraid that the man who had first trained him would be attending such an event. Sure he had never seen the man, but Autumn was terrified of the thought of running into him.

I will join you here Now if you look at early vids for oblivion and about Raident AI it sure looked a lot better than it turned out to be do the fact they had to get that 360 version on the same playing field. The issue with AI in general is the more complex you try to makeit and the more npc you want to have it the more of a strain it becomes on the hardware so you got to find that sweet spot for your hardware.[/quote] exactly every AI causing strain on the processor the more complicated the AI the greater the strain and depending how much you have put into graphics and other things the less you have available, if they didn't make the graphics for assassins creed so high end on the 360 they could of used better AI, but the ps3 is capable of running many more complicated AI's then the 360, I think I read somewhere that the ps3 is better at multitasking which would explain the whole thing, I mean look at LAIR for instance there are literally thousands of AIs on the field at once, on huge maps and the graphics are still pretty good (they made it so the closer you were the better looking an object was, more pixels the closer you got and less the farther you got to make it possible) I know for a fact that there is no way the [b]360 could handle that many AI's[/b][/quote] See Dead Rising. While it might not be thousands, they had proper AI, none of this "walk in formation" crap that Lair enjoyed till you got close, then massacred an entire squadron.[/quote] Dead rising is move towards target and attack AI, which is pretty much the most basic AI that there is in gaming after the move back and forth AI[/quote] Lair is basically walk in formation, then attack when you land.

Callum walked into the ballroom, his suit not matching with the room's appearance at all. Except the ring on his finger. It wasn't very crowded yet, which was probably best since he had sort of forced his anti-social lover to come with him. "You'd look better in that ball gown I suggested. A shame....I spent so much on it." He chuckled a bit before he fixed his tie. "Are you going to stop giving me the silent treatment? You know I don't like those childish tantrums." Callum leaned over and pulled Bane into a kiss, only to be pushed away. The demon frowned. "Get over it. You're here and you're staying. Might as well enjoy yourself, or at least look at the slaves they have here and help find one for us."

By this time the golden teen was trembling and terrified. The more people that came into the room the more frightened he was. Thankfully, he was able to make his way to a shaded corner of the room where it seemed no one noticed him. Sure he didn't like being in a cage, but at least he was safe in a cage, here, he didn't trust anyone. How could he? Every person he had ever known had hurt him somehow, he had the scars to prove it too.

When two men entered the ballroom Autumn's escort noticed them as well and thought that the teen would look good with at least one of the men, well, he hoped the men that had come in would think so. After all if he sold Autumn, he would get a percentage of the profits. Since this boy was a shifter and a demi god, the guard thought the boy would go for a decent price, no one had to know he was damaged goods. After all, plenty of shy people shook and didn't speak. Once Autumn went home with someone the scars would be seen, but then he would have been purchased already and then he was no longer the shops problem.

Zain, Autumn's escort, took the teen's arm and pulled him from the corner before turning to his charge and giving a command. "Stop resisting and get out of the corner. Your supposed to be seen, and interact with others. Now do as your told." Autumn shivered and looked down but he obeyed, clearly he didn't like the situation he was in, but he couldn't stop what was happening, and since he didn't talk, he couldn't say anything about it either. Once they were before the two, Autumn thought they appeared to be lovers, Zain spoke.

"Welcome to the ball gentlemen. See anything you like so far?" As he asked the question he tried to push Autumn towards the two, the teen now shaking more then ever. There was something about the men before him that terrified him. It was probably because both of these men felt dangerous to him and danger meant pain.

Callum rolled his eyes at Bane. At least the silent treatment was over. "Wouldn't be the first I've had to cover up a murder you've committed. I'll just have the men clean up and take care of any witnesses. Like always." The demon's dull silver eyes looked up when someone approached them with a shaking slave. He could practically smell the fear from the golden-haired boy. Whether it was because he was shy or abused, Callum didn't know and couldn't tell. "...Probably." Callum flashed a dangerously charming smile at the escort before his eyes went back to the slave. He was gorgeous. Callum had never seen someone with such vividly golden features before. It was unique. He knelt in front of the boy, tilting his head a bit. He really was shaking. A lot. "What's your name, little one?"

Autumn wanted to run away, but his escort kept a firm grip on his arm preventing him from doing anything of the sort. When the first of the men turned to them he shrank back just a bit. That was when he was asked what his name was. Zain stepped in for this. "His name is Autumn. Forgive me for speaking for him, he doesn't talk. Hasn't since he arrived. Cute little thing though."

Zain laughed for a moment. "Do? I didn't do anything to him, he has always been like this. Though, you wont need to resort to that with this one, he is already completely obedient and fully trained. Just say a command and he will do it without question." To show an example of this Zain let go of Autumn's arm and turned to the golden boy. "Autumn. Sit."

Without question the teen was on the ground and sitting there as if he were an obedient dog. He didn't look at any of the men that were before him, just to the ground, knowing that it was safer to obey an order then to think or question one.

"Would you like to see more? I can easily have him roll over for you? This particular slave is a rare find. Part god, part shifter. Seems that any animal he becomes is the same coloration as his hair. Makes it easy to find him if he changes to hide from you."

Bane frowned at Zain's laugh. He thought it was funny? The goblin couldn't stand people like him. He gripped the hilt of his sword, wanting to kill the guy then and there, but he resisted the urge for Callum's sake. When his demon lover turned away, Bane knew he lost interest in Autumn. Being a god or whatever didn't matter to him. But....Bane was still interested, and worried. He didn't want to leave Autumn behind. He was cute, and clearly needed some TKC. "Can I buy him, Callum? Please?" He waited for the demon's approval, which was swift, before looking at Zain. "How much for him?"
