Cordinia adjusted her gloves as she entered the dark depths. Ok, she won't get a solid hit in, but it'll look like she did. Sell a couple chin shots, throw some jabs that end just before her face, flop after five or so minutes. Although... landing a hit or two may be better for her combat experience. thicken her alabaster skin a bit, I'll definitely have tot hold back though. She seemed pretty mad, doesn't help that Eric was a blithering idiot. I really hope Lawrence and that other girl don't sell me out. That would complicate things, she thought. She looked toward the entrance to the valley and waited for her opponent.

Cordinia smirked and motioned for kirune to come fight her. "You're on hayseed. I'll even let you use your keyblade. Show me what a warrior can do with that thing," she said. Alright, she's got five minutes to self confidence. I get a dodging workout in this too. Sure, i probably went a bit overboard, but she shouldn't be able to land a solid it on me. I'm more afraid of Eric's mom when she finds out we'll be late than anything this girl can bring me, she thought.

Cordinia smiled and sidestepped the blade. "Yes, use your anger. Shed all of your inhibitions and...," she was interrupted by another keyblade landing in the stone near her feet.
"I'd really prefer my friends not kill each other before dinner, especially over delusions like this," Eric said angrily. Cordinia chuckled and grabbed Kirune's extended wrist. "Let the lady fend for herself Eric, lest your delusions of chivalry be the downfall of both of you," she taunted. Eric's keyblade returned to him and he sighed.
"I really didn't plan on this, but if it comes to it I will have to keep both of you from hitting each other," he said as his keyblade disappeared. "Last chance to stop this stupidity, you know how much i despise having to bring harm to women," he said. Cordinia laughed. "All the more reason to call your bluff," she said pulling Kirune toward her and tossing her aside. The poor girl could use a couple knocks, how someone so frail is put in charge of protecting the innocent is beyond me, she thought.

Eric rubbed the area between his eyebrows. "You brought an angry to a place that isn't covered by the security system Cordinia? Do you want to have heartless come and hurt us?" he said before switching his focus to Kirune. "You've been deceived, she really isn't..." he was interrupted by the sound of footsteps. Oh crap, she knows, I have to finish this quick before she comes and get the lecture of a lifetime, he thought. He ran toward the two women.

Cordinia's shirt was cut by the keyblade as she sidestepped the blow. "You little tart," she said delivering a kick toward the back of Kirune's knee. "Didn't expect you to get a hit in,"

Cordinia tried to step back, but Kirune's blade threw her off balance and she nearly fell down. Eric jumped in between the two before Cordinia could counterattack.
"Just stop, if this continues the whole group will go down in flames and..." Eric was grabbed by Kirune and tossed to the ground and held his keyblade arm back with her foot on his shoulder blade.
"It's for her own good damn it. I was never going to injure her. I am in control. Defeating me would make her more confident," she said.
"You'd make her hate you and make her brave under false pretenses. Once she found out you faked it she'd become even worse through you babying her and think that every accomplishment thereafter would be through the pity of others. You just canceled all your progress by revealing it in public," he growled. Cordinia sighed"Point taken, but she still needs it for when innocent lives are at risk," she said. Eric swung his leg toward the leg that wasn't stepping on his shoulder blade. Cordinia fell back and let go of Eric's arm. He stood up and rotated his sore shoulder.
"Your arms are mighty, but your feet are weak Cordinia," he said extending his hand to her. "Now let's stop this madness and get some nice barbecue," he said.

Patricia arrived and saw Eric surrounded by two downed women. "Do you mind telling me what in the name of fruitcake is going on here son?" she shouted angrily. Cordinia shuddered.

Eric gulped nervously. "Hello mom. There was a bit of a disagreement between these two and I had to settle them down," he said. Patricia glared at the three.
"By fighting like bratty children and making the others wait for their long awaited meal? I thought I raised you better," she said. Eric looked downtrodden. Patricia smiled. "Come now, we can discuss this later," she stared directly at Cordinia. "Especially you young lady,' she said. Eric walked alongside his mother. Cordinia stood up and held her hand out to Kirune.

Cordinia pulled Kirune up and noticed her glasses. She was fighting me without perfect vision? I guess she is kind of gutsy after all. Even Eric kept his specs on when sparring, she thought.

Patricia nodded and began walking back toward the home. Eric looked back to Kirune. That could've been much worse. Hopefully nobody got seriously injured. I might have a boot print on my back though. That'll be annoying for a while, he thought.
