Crimson was born to Death himself and an elf. Her mother mother died unfortunately giving birth to her so she never got to know her. Her father raised her from a baby teaching her everything she knows. When she got old enough she started helping out. She helped lost souls to the other side.
Over the years she has seen mean people die even those that were her friends. She grew sad and more distant each time till she just closed herself off to others.

Shadow was born to two pure blood parents. She grew up pretty normal but as she grew it was noticed her fangs didn't grow as well. It appeared she had a mutation where her fangs always stayed tiny and didn't extend either. This made it impossible for her to bit people to feed. Around two years ago her parents were murdered by hunters. She had been hidden which was the only reason she survived. She then has been living on the streets of Toyoko for some time since then.
