Rina sat quietly on top of a rock overlooking the den. Her cyan eyes alert for anything that should come close to her pack. She sniffed the air, curiously before turning her head slowly to observe the woods surrounding her den. She barked to wake everyone in the den. It was the start of a new day and like always pack life started early.

Rina looked over at Riptide with a flick of her ear as a morning greeting, before turning her attention to Vanor beside her. She sighed, and shifted to her side resting her head over his shoulder. Her white and dark gray fur rustled in the light breeze as she attempted to close her cyan eyes. However, her mind raced with the threat that lay so very close to the border, causing her eyes to snap open, and her body to shoot to her feet in order to pace deep in thought next to his side.

-Vanor was startled by Rina sudden movement, he got dizzy from watching Rina pace, so he got up and bit Rina's ear to get her attention-"If you're so worried why not go check it out?"

Rina didn't notice Vanor rise however, when he bit her ear she did give a quick warning snarl as she stopped her pacing. Sighing she sat down and licked his head gently in apology. "It isn't that simple Vanor. I can't just up and leave. I have to stay we need to stick together. Our numbers are down enough as it is without me stupidly going out and possibly getting myself and someone else killed." she stated clearly as she glared into the distance before turning her cyan gaze back to one of her closest friends and pack mates. With another sigh she sank down beside him and laid her head on her paws flicking her tail softly.

Vanor sighs laying down next to Rina laying his head on his paws and curling his tail neatly at his side. He did his best not to set of Rina's nerves. Vanor though for a while, then finally liked Rina's head hoping it would help her calm down.

Rina sighed and nuzzled Vanor softly before laying her head once again on her paws watching the members of her pack. She rolled over on her side and allowed her head to lay against the cool rock as she continued to watch attempting to clear her exhausted mind as she yawned a little and flicked her ears.
