Odd as this may seem, since I usually have avatars generally adored by the public.I often find critical little details in them that irk me to great levels.
For my "Young Ilubria avatar" for instance, the white lines in the top annoy me a little bit, since I don't have much to fit in with that, but they're vital to the best combination for letting her chest stand out and look the most agreeable.
Same for for the lovely Punishing tail. As nice as it is due to it's size and the way it curls, the tip ends up in an unfortunate spot, allowing us to see how badly the actual tip of the tail was drawn.
If you find any of these self-critiques, or have a possible solution for someone, Don't hesitate to post them here.

I dislike it how some of the nice devil tails, or just tails in general Gaia has are shaded in such an awkward pinkish-red color.
Like if they do a recolor of an item and they use that shade of red, being more into crimson red shades, it upsets me when I find out I waited for nothing.

Absolutely.
The red HOTD are a prime example of this. The colouring and shading on those are just terrible
That's why I switched to using a female avi instead of a male, Got sick of the male itemlack, and then after just stuck with the girl ava xD

| everything overlaps these bat ears ; w ; i wanted to use the short rise tails with some of the hairstyles but then they look like something coming out of the ears. D; also some hats and hoods look weird because they overlap! |

I have the same complaint about the bat ears tbh. I want to use them with everything but certain stuff you just can't cause of the layering.

It'd be nice if we could just drag & drop to control the layering ourselves, but that'd be asking wayyyy too much of gaia.
